It could be better than your own cross over?

OH GOD I SAW IT FULL SIZE NOOOOOOO

Look at you, waving those arms in the air like you just don't care.

What struck me as funny about the Devil Survivor 2 animation was that the source material game has multiple endings that could be considered 'ideal'.

Man, every damned year the earth gets destroyed. We must be giving the Dragonballs one hell of a workout.

I understand your feeling. Are you of Asian descent? I only ask because if you are, that's understandable; your identity is at stake. If you aren't, well, it's like someone else commenting here said: you're offended by the fact that they aren't offended. Like Patricia you're placing your own personal feelings above

It's actually quite bloodless rhetoric and Patricia here is super-imposing her own insecurity onto the subject. It annoys her that it "might" be offensive, despite the fact that she isn't gay, as she so stated herself.

"The gay joke in Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon is harmless. Or is it?"

Every time I see Haywood he seems to be more and more slowly turning into Gandalf's deadbeat brother Darrel the Green.

Hard to say... Guess all we can do is hope for the best.

You're totally not wrong, as why I mentioned the juxtaposition. Even Memebase has ads and 'sponsored' memes occasionally. The clarity of its use and the creators' intentions could seem murky.

End of an era :/

I did read the file written by the plaintiffs, and I understood what you meant. One important thing about intellectual property though is that you need to defend it, or else people will walk all over you and your patents. This is an interesting juxtaposition seeing as these two IPs are regularly reused as memes,

Of course, but this has gone beyond parody - it's the repeated use of IP that doesn't belong to the company. They've used the characters in 4 separate games, referred to them by their original names, and are accessed any time by the game's primary system.

There's a difference between referencing something and flat-out theft. If both of these meme characters were used as a quick 'lul' reference once or twice, it would be one thing. But they've been used in FOUR games - and even identified by their original names. That's way past what would qualify as a simple reference

Well I was aware of the DDM:MTs on NES/MS... but forgot them for some reason. Ah well~

Of course they retain rights to their creations, despite the spread of memes. Tosh.0 and all the various commercials featuring original memes all pay for the ability to feature videos and respective IPs. Fair Use doesn't extend to commercial enterprises; MST3k hit that bump years ago.

Ah, yeah you're right. I forgot xD; I falsely contradicted my own argument lol

You do seem to be technically correct; Dragon Quest V came out a month before the first SMT. Though it was more of a sub system to fill party slots, but it was still a simple "catch'em all" scenario.

I think its also important to note Shin Megami Tensei had the demon contracting/fusion system developed BEFORE Pokemon.
