@SewerShark: Actually Apple's goal is to yoke developers so that they finally learn that not everyone wants to spend a half hour toying around with a program and mastering a learning curve just to use their Goddamned app to its fullest. Take away their options and they're forced to stop and think about what's friendly

@paperless: If Apple did everything you guys demand of them you know what their phones would end up looking like?

@TadpoleAngel: My mother told me that I was destined to be unhappy in life as I would never marry a woman who could cook as well as I do.

@Eugenia: So. . . you want to be able to play things from your PC but you don't want your PC to have to be on to do it? Because the only way it'll remember your iTunes settings is if you use one version of iTunes as a hub. Which will mean that your computer with iTunes and your library on it will have to be on.

@Paradise: Developers are lazy. If they can just give you options they will default to crap and tell you to change it.

@miriamcelia: The better test would be to ask your good looking friends if they got it. There's no accounting for the taste of some of the folks on that site.

@Eugenia: I don't really understand the complaint. You could stream from the now cheaper iTV OR from your computer without having to futz around with moving files back and forth. If you have any external storage at all that can connect to WiFi you'd be able to stream from that too.

@Eugenia: You'd be streaming it from your computer or hard-drive to your iTV through the WiFi.

@Paradise: This means every time you download an app you have to spend time configuring.

@DinaRonson : Elizabeth Cady Stanton: I have still yet to find a haircut that I like. I've stuck with the same look basically since high-school (short as possible on the side and maybe an inch or so long on top) just because it's inoffensive and all I really know how to explain.

@stacyinbean: Oh dear God! Male facial hair is not like body hair. Once you get older it is pretty thick and deeply rooted on your face. Possibly deeper even than the hair on my head.

@Eugenia: Not just that. Each of the hardware buttons on the iPhone has a specific function. This function is the same regardless of which program is running. The home button takes you to the home screen. The top button turns it on and off. The mute toggle mutes it and the volume buttons control the volume.

@miriamcelia: That’s been pretty much my experience two, except not so many "creepy, stalkerish" ones. But a lot of really boring people and a whole lot of being completely ignored by anyone I’m remotely interested in.

@Archaotic: 90% of planets DON'T have anything on them. Even 10% interesting locations is pretty optimistic given what we know about the universe. Mass Effect had incredibly detailed lore about the peoples and civilizations on it. The only real gripe was the repetitiveness of the Mako missions and those are almost all

@Archaotic: Childish? Au contraire sir.

Speaking as someone who occasionally attends ANC meetings, I can tell you that the best way to make them hate and not want to listen to you is to have a bunch of outsiders come along and try to bully them into changing their rules.

@Skyne: Valve doesn't make anything because they hire people to make them?
