@Zonky: Ars reported that holding the iPhone 3G a certain way causes it to lose signal too. I tried it out on mine and went from 5 bars to 2 and that's without the metal bar on the outside.

@Arsenal6: Any product launch is going to have a few defects coming out the door. They just aren't typically subjected to obsessive media coverage.
@EljhHck: My guess is that the iPad's larger screen is sufficiently pricey that they didn't want to bother tacking on the incremental costs of more RAM and such.
@Kaiser-Machead: How would bumpers protect the back of the phone?
@FormallyCasual: "Industrial" is an aesthetic style, but "Industrial design" is how you design your products and manufacturing processes.
@A.Jaswal: A product breaking when dropped isn't a "design flaw." I've dropped my iPhone three times in my 2 years owning it. Both times it landed glass-face down without breaking. AFAIK it only breaks when you drop it on a sharp corner like a curb. The solution is simple, don't be clumsy.
@nielwulf: You don't HAVE to buy one. You could just cut some holes in a rubber-band. . .
@MrSatyre: I assumed heat and power storage wouldn't be an issue since they presumably have hyperefficeint powersources with superhigh temperature superconductors.
Ever since switching to the Mac I've found that my "not giving a shit about hardware" has kind of atrophied my knowledge of the state of the market these days.
@ceilingFANBOY: That's how you get a race to the bottom! It's best just to assume everyone else is a selfish cur and you're the lone exemplar of taste and elegance.
@ceilingFANBOY: Um . . .no I'm pretty sure it's still bad etiquette.
@RandomDesign: I know. I just figured Disney, of all people, would have the clout to wrangle an exception.
Interesting that they stuck with a green X on the X-Box controller. Kind of clashes with the look doesn't it?
@TheShredder: If you factor in the fact that it includes a pretty nice monitor the iMacs aren't badly priced.
@Titania: I don't know about that. Hollywood has made glorified stories about Ghengis Khan and he was, at his best, just as bad as Hilter.
@RedJenny: The movie hasn't been made yet. AFAIK there's not even a script. . .
Or we could just enjoy the game and not take it so seriously?
@iJoe: "Although they are attempting to make 'real' instruments, they're not going to be taken seriously in the real world."
@psxndc: WIN
@Fanboy: I briefly had an iMojito wallet case and had to return it.
