I was gonna do an edit of my reply to add essentially what you mention about 'Across the Pacific'.  I would love to read what kind of reaction Huston and co. went through.

I remembered that very episode the morning of 9/11 and, aside from the enormity of the situation, it totally magnified the surrealism of what was happening.

What?  No Love for Colonel Angus?!

"No, I think she said, 'power lines.' "

Okay, so I remember years ago reading that the Breen design came from the same person who designed Leia's bounty hunter get-up in Jedi; but for the life of me, I can't find any info to back it up!  I figure it was a freelancer, a la Andrew Probert, who just didn't give a shit that day, dusted off a franchise-tested

Thanks for clearing that up.  I understand that we're supposed to infer that Carmela doesn't want Meadow to be tainted, to avoid the 'blood money'/accomplise judgement Dr. Krakower gives Carmela in 'Second Opinion'.  Just didn't quite register what l'il Parisi maybe up to.

Still don't quite get the reasoning that Meadow is doomed to be a Mafia wife because of her relationship w/ Patrick Parisi.  Did I miss something that said either way if Parisi is involved with his father's lifestyle?  I must be out of it because just about everything I've read about the fates of the Sopranos seem to

I cannot believe how even more irritated I've become over the fact that this season is split in two when initially I was okay with it (as had been done with Sopranos and BSG many moons ago).  Mike's death, more than likely coincidentally, came at roughly the same episode number this 'season' as the episode the Cousins
