Love this movie.
Love this movie.
This was my suggestion as well. Most movies that have "twists" you re-watch to see the clues. This one you re-watch knowing the reveal, and things are not hinted at but everything makes more sense.
This one got to me, simply because it was totally plausible.
I am so glad I bought the Scary Stories treasury about a year or so before they took out the classic wonderfully terrifying illustrations. It was the art that made them so scary and awesome.
I think out of all of them, Harold is the one that freaks me out the most. Just leave the damn stool behind!
My copy of Hitchcock's "Stories to Read With the Lights On" is in tatters from re-reads. I love that one.
I hate the summer. I can't stand the heat, the humidity, the allergies... everyplace seems more crowded. I love it when it is cold and cloudy and rainy. That is the kind of weather that makes me happy.
Me too. I think it adds to the experience. But I am a weirdo who loves horror. 3am home alone is the best time to watch scary movies. Or Mel Brooks movies.
The Hobbit was the first "real" fantasy book I read. I read it when I was little and it remains one of my favorites.
I agree, it looks like they are setting it up to be her son. After growing up without her he became obssessed with finding her/finding out what happened to her. Wibbly wobbly timey whimey
"(what the hell is Beetlejuice, anyway)"
I had a bunch too. But She-Ra would still be cool to have. I wish I had held on to more of my old toys.
I wish I had kept more of my old toys. I have a lot of my old books from when I was a kid, but not many toys. I do have the stuffed cat I have had since I was 2.
I wish I still had my She-Ra. And Swift Wind.
I totally remember this version! I can't remember exactly which one it was either. But I absolutely remember playing this one.
We saw The World's End in the theater, and when the Doors' Alabama Song came on, everyone in the theater started to sign along. It was a cool little moment.
That is so funny. For some reason, the other day I was thinking of this movie and trying to remember the name of it.
This one still creeps me out. It has such a wonderful atmosphere, slowly and quietly creepy. The scene where she is in bed and feels something squeezing her hand....eek
Yes! I loved Nevetending Story even though it freaked me out. Gmork scared the crap out of me. And I swear I held my breath everytime he went through the gates.
I will never be able to listen to this the same way again.
