I had a similar experience when one of my lit teachers handed me Geek Love telling me to read it because she knew I would love it. I did love it and it is one of my favorite books.

I really hope they changed it because enough people pointed out how stupid it was.
Excuse me, I am off to go eat some delicious delicious cheese.
I think they were looking at movies more targeted to kids rather than movies that were meant to be horror.
I actually loves those books when I was a kid. It's not until I look back that I realize that, yeah they were a little disturbing. Remember when the kids decided to go into the trunk and use the key and they were transported back?
I agree completely. And yet.. I love that song always have. But sometimes weird kids turn into weird adults. But I so love that movie to this very day.
Ohhh good suggestion. This was so such a creepily wonderful short.
You win. You totally win.
Favorite episode is tough. I might have to say The Atomic Brain and I Accuse My Parents.
According to my husband it feels like "getting kicked in the nuts except in the head"
I don't get brain freeze either. I can down a margarita with out problems. :)
I thought it was him too actually.
Cool. It wasn't that I disliked it per say. I just could not get into it. I will give it one more shot then if I just can't get into it I will move on to the second.
Have you tried posting on the observationdeck here? We do pretty well at identifying books/movies/shows.
I have Consider Phlebas on Nook and I am having trouble getting through it. It just isn't grabbing me. I keep stopping to read other things. Should I just power through it, or would I be ok skipping to the second?
I will have to keep an eye on this. Stretches help and so does the hot pack, I spit out mouth guards at night. But would be nice not to have to deal with it even for a while.
Do you have any more info on this? I have had terrible TMJ for as long as I can remember. Not a thing helps and (as you know) it's just an awful thing to have to deal with day in and day out. Even my chiropractor does not really like to work on my jaw for me. He will, but he wont do much since I have such severe…
Actually he wrote the mini series first for BBC. Then he adapted it into the book.
Neverwhere is a great start. But you can't loose with anything of his.
That was beautiful. Another reason why Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors.
