I agree. I am not sure what people were expecting. I was expecting aliens, stuff going kaboom, and shit getting blown up. Check, check and check.

I got the same impression. The hat worked and when he fell he fell into the hat (or whatever) and went back.

I would like to know how she knew to make that hat. It looked like a well made hat. Did she have a pattern? Was she just really good at copying one of his hats?

I agree. Rick is close, but Andrea....not even. In the comics her sisters death made her stronger and she early on became the best shot and everyone wanted her to have their back, she was tough. Lori was nowhere as irritating, Dale was a much better character in the comics. Shane, well we had less time with him. …

Loved the book. One of the best I have read in a while. I also got the impression the author had the same love for the things he wrote about as the characters did. It was a fun read.
