As I was watching the show, I felt that 12 Years a Slave was going to get the Color Purple treatment this award season.

I definitely agree. Gambling on baseball games is a horrible act, but it is signs of an addiction. Not to say steroid abuse isn't an illness either (it is), but it has a direct outcome on the game more so than gambling.
