Awww!
Man I binged on ramen so much...I felt like a struggle rapper.
Wait there's cheddar cheese ones? OMG I want to throw up now.
Maybe the reason why there are no Black rappers to do this is because
Okay, so you're stating that Macklemore is doing something that other rappers have not, when they actually have done so. Are you ignoring the problematic situation that is Macklemore's (who is a White rapper) constant praise for being a pioneer for an issue for which he not only wasn't a pioneer in, but is also part…
And I also just learned his pa is this guy:
I saw the video and know he was shitfaced but was turned on nonetheless.

Re: second point - you just proved what every one else was trying to show you.
But it's an example of how not to discuss MLK so I don't understand. And I guarantee people would have brought up that article in the comments as it was mentioned in other articles within the Gawker network.
Actually it was another author on Gawker or Jezebel (or commenter) who brought up the fact that Macklemore was compared to MLK first, not her. So she didn't "dig up" anything.
Dude (or ma'am) the first comment of yours on this particular article was about fucking Macklemore. You gave little criticism towards the actual comparing of Macklemore to MLK. You are being a hypocrite here. But I'm done.
There's a particular reason why these rappers' lyrics about anti-homophobia haven't blazed the charts and Macklemore's has...I wonder why?
Dude its one fucking sentence about, one fucking word about Macklemore. Seriously, you're acting like she spent the whole article about him. Hypocritical much?...you're talking about someone using an MLK article to talk about their hate for a rapper (which she really didn't do), while ignoring the fact that you just…
If you read her post past the Macklemore part, she discusses about how not to make false equivalencies in comparing MLK to issues he would have no part in (like comparing MLK to some anti-government Rand Paul type), or using MLK as a way to bolster a position (i.e. Minorities as the hapless victim) that he would never…
Do you even get what I'm saying? I don't care that you talked about John Lewis in another post. Good for you, and I am glad that you did. However, I'm talking about this particular post, about Civil Rights (in your words). And in this particular post your raising more hell about Macklemore being a cheesedick than the…
She calls him a cheesedick. That was it. And she's ranting about him? OMG I'm sick!
Meagan I am so sorry you are being attacked on this article.
What are you talking about? Let me break it down:
