Fiat Is an Answer Too.

Jesus, dude, don’t insult the guy’s purchase. You’re responding directly to a guy that owns one.

It was a bit of a weird deal. A big Chrysler dealership in Orlando bought a job lot of Alfas and Fiats from FCA that were auto show and dead dealer inventory cars. Since they had no Fiat franchise, they had to sell them as used cars with the warranty clock started. My car was supposedly from the Chicago auto show, and

Almost $10k off? For that kind of discount I should look into one to go along with my 2015 Abarth. We need more European-style cars over here.

This is ageist, sexist and insulting - you win the trolling trifecta.

I own one (2018 Lusso) and I will say that there is damned little “Italian Designed” about it - the motor is pretty much it. Though I do think it is both better looking and better to drive than the Miata (it’s softer and not as nervous). Glad they are sticking around, but it would be nice if Fiat would actually do

This is a good take. For years we’ve been halfheartedly rooting for Tesla, knowing all the while that a new car company in post-consolidation, hyperregulated America would be nearly impossible. Tesla finds a way to shave down production costs and everyone jumps down their throats. I’m no fan of this hideous

You could get rear wheel steering in a 1989 Honda Prelude, it’s not that crazy of a thing.

If that’s your concern, modern, top of the line Mercedes Benz vehicles may not be for you, and they weren’t before they got to real wheel steering.

As I said in another reply, boomers have been hearing this for over 20 years. Why do we continue to try and change their mindset? You don’t get behind a slow car on the freeway and flash your lights for 20 miles to get them to move over. You go around them and press on.

“meaningfully reduced” is a bit of a stretch no?

This, a thousand times over.

I will buy this only if it includes a ride with Kimi to his favorite ice-cream shop.

This is wrong. President Trump - with great and unmatched wisdom (his words, (the best)) - said cars are like paper mache, and he is going to make them cheaper and safer.

I typically would attend this C&C, though I had other plans this past week. There’s normally police in attendance and down the street to try and stop this from happening.

Yeah, where the normal version would only do one lap, this one would do three before the transmission shit the bed.

I doubt it, honestly. The same people who swear up and down that it needed a manual would have immediately pointed to the price tag and compared it to the admittedly better fit-and-finish of the Cayman - and ended up not buying either one of them.
