I had a soft top 135i convertible in Idaho, the winters were not a problem even when it was -20* outside. It didn’t leak, wasn’t too cold, didn’t have any problems at all.

THANK YOU. My wife hates them, I love them. I actually just this weekend got a wagon I’ve wanted for so long, just to learn it’s probably the last year BMW sells them in the US.

I’ve been looking at Norwegian for these flights...are they really OK?

As a graduate of DeVry, I can’t express how wrong you can be. The instructors I had at DeVry were leaps and bounds better than I had both at a Community College and a traditional 4 year university. I received a great education, and I have a significantly better quality of life, and income since my graduation.

I wanted to argue with you, but you summarized my life exactly. Every time I hit that Start button I cringe inside just waiting for something to happen. Sitting in traffic...waiting for that light to come on. I’m just waiting for my N26 to destroy itself due to the timing chain, and for one more thing to go wrong on

I’m curious about this...since I own several BMW’s and the MAINTENANCE is not $2K per year. In fact, it’s much closer to about $500 per year and that’s just because I drive about 20K per year. Oil changes for me at the dealer for both of mine are only $100 per trip.

I can do a hard reset on the nav in my BMW, it’s actually super easy and takes less than 30 seconds. I had to do this when I updated my maps last time. Irritated I had to, but not difficult at all.

From what I understand the Germans (BMW/MB/Audi, maybe VW?) all LOVE to have you order a vehicle. The system is completely different from how American brands handle an order. I know for BMW, it’s a great process and pure profit for the dealer.

Agree completely, although I didn’t see Extra Gear. I’ve searched, but BBC America doesn’t even have anything scheduled called Extra Gear, unless it was the Top Gear Part A-Z thing that was also recorded.

Having done a bit of work to various BMW’s, I’ve been constantly surprised at the cost of Genuine BMW parts. They’re a lot lower than I anticipated. Some parts are more than the Toyota’s I’ve worked on, but they’re really not extremely high.

Thank You. Last year I bought a 2015 Legacy 3.6R Limited. During the test drive and on the highway I didn’t notice the CVT that much. When I moved to SLC for a few months, I learned how horrifyingly bad that CVT is. Trying to move through traffic with something that won’t downshift, or move, was hellish.

As a Spurs fan, they’ve looked like crap. Especially that bunk with Alli, I mean WTH was that? Don’t stop playing until the season is over!

I have 2 BMW’s for my DD and my wife’s DD, and to play with and track. For reliability, ruggedness, towing, hauling, and going places I shouldn’t be, I have my Tundra. Previously I’ve had an FJ, and a 4Runner, and the rest of my family has Taco’s.

I don’t buy these ratings at all. I love my Tundra, but the reality is that out West where I live 80MPH is highway speeds now. I get MAYBE 12-13MPG at 80MPH on a stock Tundra Limited (5.7L w/ 6Spd Auto) across relatively flat terrain. Throw hills and mountains or wind in and it goes down even further. According to the

You mean something like this? I took this last week. It’s a damn farm vehicle going like 35ish on I-15 in Idaho where the speed limit is 80. It’s absolutely legal here, but unbelievably dangerous. With only two lanes, it forces everyone to try and get around it including semi’s, and NOBODY is expecting a vehicle going

GM - I will consider a Tesla, I will NOT consider a GM product. I’m still bitter after owning them and being burned by them. Plus, their dealership network is a reason NOT to own one.

I went to buy one. I test drove it. I could not stand it. Now this is entirely my opinion and I’m not saying it’s not a good car, but I hated the thing. Driving position was bad, visibility was poor, it had ZERO power unless it was up over 4K RPM. I don’t want to drive it all day at 4K.

Got my first BMW, a highly used E90 325i a few years ago. It had 108K on it. Less than a month later on my first road trip, I discovered the wonders of BMW’s infamous electric water pumps. Fortunately for me, this happened in the middle of nowhere Utah between Nephi and St George, in December, and it was -14* F. It

It’s the one piece of the world’s crappiest vehicle (Freelander) that I miss. The front windshield defroster was AMAZING. Why hasn’t this caught on?! Isn’t Ford’s patent or whatever expired by now??

Depending on how things go I’m putting a deposit down on this instead of another 3-Series. So from my perspective the comparison is true.
