RHUBARB CANDY!!! Excuse me for shouting but where can I get some?
If she’s getting paid so much could she maybe afford another dress?
I’m in the same boat. I don’t know why but my attention is hopeless with listening and watching but needle-sharp when reading. People are always recommending podcasts and I feel guilty I can’t appreciate them.
Seattle. If I have to put up with a thousand new neighbors every week can we at least count as a major city?
Perhaps I got this wrong because I can be oblivious, but aren’t the Chris’s being ranked on their behavior and persona? (As in, I thought Chris Pratt was cool until he started being all purity ring extra-christian, now some other cute movie star Chris is the best Chris.)
I hate it when the hostess thinks they are giving me a treat by giving me the piece of cake with buttercream rose on it. Always a grocery store sheet cake, so more like Crisco-cream.

Also, Vancouver is a suburb of Portland, full of hippies, so unfortunately you can’t blame it all on religious nuts and conspiracy theorists. Look up the history of flouridation in Portland, if you want a laugh. Oregon teeth, not just for tweakers.
I find I can really zen out and forget all the things that are stressing me when I knit... it takes just enough focus that it forces my brain off the anxiety hamster wheel. That being said, anything that gets your body moving is bound to be good for you.
I have had very good luck with HotShot ant baits in a couple of houses now, tried borax, diatomaceous earth and Terro and no real results. The HotShot seems to eliminate them in a couple days and then they don’t come back until next year.
So sorry about your ring and may I recommend that you get a pro or an experienced student to fix it rather than trying to d.i.y..
I have 60 credits in metalsmithing and jewelry design and I can vouch for the fact that soldering is a bitch. It always helped me to remember that the heat of the metal being soldered melts the solder, not the heat of the torch; and both pieces being soldered should reach the same temperature so focus the torch more…
