unfortunately

Christy Hall did not write this specifically for the screen. It was in fact a play first. So weird when reviewers make unnecessary comments and don’t even bother to see if they are accurate.

Nah he is a big asshole, a diva and a bitch. everyone who has dealt with him knows this. Anytime someone is a better than average actor, but doesn’t actually work a ton - you can assume this may be the case.

I am SO confused why this made reviewers so mad?? Probably sure it could have come an episode earlier and yes the last two eps were a bit rushed and didn’t really build on it. BUT it’s an interesting twist that was hinted at the whole season, which was already pretty interesting and fun without it, and the final twist

LOL of COURSE Bridgerton isn’t GOOD. It never was?? It’s just fun, and empty and pretty and occasionally sexy and funny. It’s not meant to be high art, it’s a soap set in the past. The whole point is it’s diverting and only makes you feel good. You can cozy up and forget all your problems for a bit, and luckily do it

I agree but I am going to be honest, when I opened the article page the first thing that crossed my mind was WTF is going on with his hair.... so I understand why they felt it deserved a call out. I imagine it was distracting for the entirety of a boring comedy hour.

No idea who this person is. though based on everything I now know about her, I am sure she sucks. But I WOULD love to read a brutal critique of Greta Gerwig.

As opposed to.... the one they did give it to??? The person who conceived of it??

I mean les miserables was god awful ( I say this as someone who has loved the musical since I was a child) but if there was anything good about it, it was her performance. People are just assholes because she was pretty and talented and was unabashedly happy and proud. so they took her down.

I mean I kind of see your point but.... how exactly would you have liked this to be flagged??? They used 3 AI images in what seems like brief or background spots. Do you need a disclaimer on the screen anytime AI is involved??? Should it be listed at the start of the movie?? No one was trying to sneak anything man...

I actually think Issa Lopez IS capable of making a great season of TV. Unfortunately, even though some of the elements were there.... this past season was not it. It was.... pretty bad writing. Maybe she needs someone to write with her?? The problem is, because there are so many inexplicable great reviews for the show

Who is Rae?

I know nothing about comics or the fantastic 4 but these people seem old....

I’ve always found Alicia Keyes interesting because while clear she can sing VERY well, all her songs (which she writes?) seem to be in a different key or pitch then her voice can actually handle so she’s always sort of straining and it sounds like its coming from her throat and could break at any minute. Even on her

I mean, I feel like critics are taking this movie way too seriously, way more seriously than the filmmakers did. It’s a deeply, intentionally, stupid movie, from the twist, to the cat, to the insane action sequences. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t fun and at times very funny, with a great soundtrack. No one has ever accused

It’s a mediocre movie that is only in the conversation because of the $$$$ WB spent to keep it there, and because of this endless nonsense perpetuated by the media that is somehow is a good and important film. It’s a corporate toy commercial with some white feminism 101 thrown in, and Ryan Gosling being better than

I’m sorry but if you’d “easily” place Margo Robbie over Gladstone then you have no business even commenting on an article about movies.

I mean the category is very clearly Comedy OR Musical but go off I guess!

I just... honestly?? You really have to pee every 3 hours?? just don’t drink a 86oz soda? I literally have a digestive disorder and I rarely exit a movie to pee. I find this complaint just super weird. Pee before you go in! We’re all adults right?? and I guarantee Scorsese has sat through this movie and many others

No snark, genuinely asking.... what about what he said was NOT antisemitic? Who was the “they” he was talking about and how was suggesting we are all still under threat by “them” not antisemitic?
