I’ve been so impressed with Eichner this season. He’s never really given a chance to show his chops but he’s been the one thing keeping me tuned in this season.

Eichner is a funny guy, of course, and the scene after killing his boss was some quality darkly funny hysterical acting. But he also really sold the weariness of this guy for me. The follow up to the Yogurt line made me laugh

So glad to have TGP back on my screen! Ted Danson (and his bowties) continue to be a delight. Tahani’s uncomfortableness with everything was wonderful I was laughing at the way Jameela Jamil delivered every line, she is so good. Once again TGP reminding me how much I am Chidi.

I saw the ‘twist’ coming (especially from the foreshadowing of the guy yelling “Donald Trump will be president!” in the real universe, and from the foreshadowing with Bevers), but that didn’t make it any less great when Alternate-Abbi and Alternate-Ilana got hit by the bus.

After some extremely emotional and heavy closing minutes, the episode finishes off with a literal interpretation of the “This is fine” meme.
