Pretty much. Same as with the luddite movement in the early industrial revolution. That is those were all people angry about losing out to changing tech that left them financially impacted (and being 1800's England, that usually meant starving or a poor house).

Why is this a problem? There is no need to “art” any more than there is a need to know how to make a basket, and yet people still know how to make baskets.

Are we really having a “They took our jobs” with Ai and artist? I don’t see the problem. If a piece of art moves me in someway, I don’t really care who or what the artist is.

The only people who get that mad about positive reviews for art they haven't seen are people who think their taste in art is a personality.

Adults put very little stock into other adults telling them what is appropriate entertainment for adults. I pay my mortage, I can watch exactly as many blue cat people movies as I want.
