Well if this man wasn’t driving under the influence with two minors in the vehicle and fleeing from the police then his vehicle would not have been involved in a PIT maneuver that causes a death of one of the minors.

Right up there with jacked-up vehicles having headlights raised to the point where they blind drivers in front of them if they look in the mirror. I would be happy to see laws mandating the maximum height from the road surface for headlights for a vehicle to be legal to drive on public roads.

This is nothing new. I owned a few 80's GM cars where they removed features like the air conditioning, power windows, etc, 10 years after they were new. ;)

Why not use a Surburban? It has a stiff suspension.

I suspect the keys were in the Suburban to keep the A/C, running full blast, particularly in back.

It was probably a vehicle known in the industry as a “First call car”. It’s usually a normal looking minivan, full sized van, or a Suburban, but it still has the equipment inside to carry either caskets or a stretcher for carrying bodies from the scene to and from the medical examiners office or funeral home.

Maybe these people who buy the homes aren’t as stupid as they first appear. They probably get the houses for a lower price because of the track then they apply the political pressure to close it. The builders probably play the game if the buyers don’t. They’ll build just enough close to the track so it gets closed and…
