Nissan Altimas spend a lot of time on trucks, either because the transmission failed or they got repossessed. It doesn’t surprise me that it saw a wrecker and decided to get onboard before it was taken by another Altima.

Once I saw it was a sedan, my brain autofilled Nissan Altima. Nothing is more Altima than hitting a large truck stopped on the shoulder in broad daylight while cruising in the passing lane.
I’m surprised the seller isn’t asking more for it. Maybe the car has issues in person that don’t come through in the ad, but based on the info we have it’s a steal. Drop the top and shove your “Thriller” cassette tape in the dash and relive the 80’s whenever you want.
There was even some kind of a wave they could have surfed on. The lesson learned is to fill your car with liquid and let the water hammer effect carry you to safety.
The dealers should have taken her seriously when she said “Nice inventory mate, be a shame if something was to happen to it.”
I’d say what Lester did takes balls, but you know.
Yes, it was a horrible crash. The motorcyclist had his daughter on the bike with him and they both died. The driver had stopped in the left lane of a highway for the ducks. She was sentenced to jail time served on weekends and a 10 year ban from driving. The driver had some factors in her favor at sentencing,…
If that oil change sticker from 1987 is accurate, then this car really could have only 39,000 miles on it. The condition of the paint and interior is so good that it would not surprise me at all.
Unfortunately, I don’t think there will be any kind of relief or compensation provided in those areas. Maybe the resale value will recover as we get further away from this debacle and the fixes offered by Kia/Hyundai hopefully bring theft rates back towards what you would normally expect for these sorts of vehicles.…
All in all, he’s just another dick in the wall.
This one’s easy peasy.
The ad was up for a week according to the screenshot. I’m guessing that means the seller didn’t take it down until 6 days after the sale.
But he’s from out of town! How else was he supposed to find out which bridges he could not fit under? /s
Nothing screams MAGA louder than a pile of empties around the couch and a negligent discharge hole in the ceiling.
I want to NP this so badly, but I can’t with the miles and mods that make me worry that it has been flogged. Having a filing cabinet’s worth of maintenance records isn’t quite the flex the seller thinks it is.
$22k feels too rich for a car that will never let you forget that it came at the tail end of the malaise era. I appreciate how clean it is, but you could buy something so much better than a wheezing old boat for that kind of money. No dice.
The new software is what made me give up on Gizmodo. It is such a pain in the ass to log in using my phone that I stopped trying. Participating in the comments is the main reason I have stuck with any of the Kinja sites. Without the interaction with other readers, the draw just isn’t there for me.
As for the gun, which Taylor purchased legally, she claimed that she last saw it when it was locked up. Her attorney James Ellesnon told GMA that “nobody knows” how the boy was able to get access to the firearm and bring it to school.
You want way above original MSRP for a used car that the manufacturer is disavowing all knowledge of like a captured spy? Well aren’t you adorable! No dice.
