Uhh, they have actually mentioned that they are working on implementing WoD character models and such to the 1.12.1 build of WoW.

A great number of players didn’t even know about legacy servers (myself included). If Blizzard actually created their own legacy servers and it was advertised, even if only on thier launcher, I’m confident they would pick up atleast a couple million subscribers again.

Better code? I don’t remember vanilla being as buggy as any legacy server. :/ Definitely higher population cap per server 10k up from 2k-2.5k

Everyone here fails to realize they never got “Shut Down”. They only complied with a Cease and Desist letter out of respect for Blizzard but since they didn’t get respect in return they gave Blizzard a big middle finger by giving their sourcecode to Elysium. Since it’s not financially viable for Blizzard to implement…

I’d play the sh*t out of a blizzard sanctioned TBC server if they came out with one. Best optimization of classes and dungeon items while leveling. It really was the best form of WoW.
