When I was in the Air Force, I remember Army people being astonished that we carried our berettas on duty with a round in the chamber. I’m sure the rationale was the same... less time in an emergency.

Alternatively “Why not to alienate portions of the country that are not dense city communities.”

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world:

Picture of said teens. Apparently they were looking for a g-g-g-g-ghost.

Jesus Christ, just outlaw baseball already.

I’m not glad it happened, but hopefully this stems the left’s growing fascination with political violence (punch nazis guys!). This is where you end up.

Let’s not be a dick about this

I believe the actual method for modern journalists is:

They aren’t converting, as they have actual Colt M16s that were sold to the Mexican Army.

Between 2009 and 2014, Mexican authorities confiscated 73,000 guns traced back to the United States.

So the point of this article is that Trump is right and we need better border security?

And the gun control zealots are rejoicing because all the guns going south are keeping guns off our streets, right?

So what he saying is that we need a wall to stop guns moving into Mexico?

Republicans use guns for self defense. Democrats use guns to commit crimes.

You didn’t really explain why Mattis is a bad person beyond working in the administration. My understanding is that he is a generally good person who is respected by pretty much everyone (except bloggers who wanted to the list to appear as long as possible).

I fire the bike up and let the engine come up to temperature, then take a short, fairly spirited ride around the block. It blows out the majority of the water, which I wipe down as soon as I get back.

This is about tobacco addictions. There are fewer places to smoke (certainly not offices or tv studios), so gum is the usual fallback. As for Tucker Carlson and his chewing tobacco, somebody tell him it doesn’t butch him up (nothing could); he should stick to his Nicorette.

What else would you credit for the lack of large scale war since the end of WWII? I’m not trying to troll, I am just genuinely curious, because I was under the impression that M.A.D was generally accepted as the reason nations with large military forces no longer conduct conventional war against each other.

@Hami83: If some law maker wants to try to 'revise' which weapons are apropriate for me to defend myself with, he can do so at gun point.

@Heilage: It doesn't mean you should, it means you can. I dont have an arsenal, I have 6, but I'd like to have a few more. I have 1 that I use for serious self defense, the other 5 I have becasue I think they are cool and/or fun to shoot. Kinda like gadgets in that way.
