when i opened bing in firefox, there was something like "Add bing to your browser" and it added bing to my search providers from there.

hats off gina..i know a late comment but its never too late..i really enjoy lifehacker and i have been digging through your posts for many months.

IE 6 is still the default at my university, whenever i click any link IE6 opens and security warning dialog pops and it wont continue until we click "yes" and even if we check "Do not show again", no settings are saved as windows computers are brought back to default state after every restart...aahh hate it

i used to get zapped alot too, i thought of many things and i started with the basic idea and it worked perfect so far. i just have a wide bowl which is half filled with water in one place(next to wall) of the room left undisturbed. i know danger of spilling but it works for me no spilling so far

I went to Help->Check for updates on vista and it said 3.0.8 available and downloaded and installed.
