Sorry, but even at $6K, this doesn’t even begin to scratch “look at me territory”. If you want ostentatious, have a look at richard mille or chopard watches. 

Appreciation for engineering/mechanical devices. Both watches and cars have an incredible amount of design, engineering and craftsmanship involved and I have an appreciation for that type of work.

I can’t help but read an air of superiority here too. If you don’t “get it,” you’re just not “elegant” or “expressive” enough to be BMW.

As a designer myself, I can’t think of anything less elegant and less creative than just scaling up the kidneys until they become naked mole rat teeth. So no elegant creators that I know would want to be seen anywhere near the heaps of fugliness that is any new BMW.

As a current BMW owner in my early 30's: your new designs are bad and you should feel bad.

Imagine bragging about a 20% approval of your design. EIGHTY PERCENT of people said they didn’t like it, and you’re bragging about targeting the remainders? “Congrats, you have shit taste. Just how we like ‘em!”

These have both been out of production for many years. The bottom one is just bland, not really ugly though. Not much there to like or dislike.

Best bad one? Maybe. But the motorcycle one takes the cake as just plain stupid. Is this Cycle World? Why is anyone here interested in this?

Seriously if I have to live with a screen in my car it should give me detailed diagnostic data and a usb interface to log it or whatever.
