When have I ever said I hated Nintendo? I'm just not a rose-tinted glasses-wearing fanboy who thinks that Nintendo can do no wrong.

I don't have a problem with Nintendo, I have a problem with their business practices. The way they release things and the way they interact with other developers, who love the video game

What the hell are you talking about?

A lot of those games were in development before the final Wii U dev kits got around to people? What in the flying fuck does that even mean? The console came out a full year before PS4 and XBO! If the dev kits weren't distributed correctly or on time, that's no one's fault but

But that's comparing apples to oranges. You're comparing a console that came out in 2012 as doing better than 1) a handheld and 2) a console that came out 6 years ago.

I really don't think that's much to be excited about.

I just recently got the Sony RX100 as a gift and, my, is it a stunning point-and-shoot.

This camera is a serious overachiever; at this price point, I couldn't see myself getting any other camera. The pictures it takes are extremely detailed and in low-light, it's a complete powerhouse.

Beyond technicals, it just feels

There is absolutely no way you can be serious man. And I mean that with respect.

If you're defining 'old tech' by the configuration of the CPU and the GPU, then that is one thing. I for one, am not impressed at 'improved cache times' and 'multiprocessor support' if Nintendo isn't going to be utilizing it to the

You realize the Wii U is the only next-gen console available in Japan at this time right?

Not only that, but if you look at the NeoGAF data, the fucking PSVita of all things is selling more YTD than the Wii U by about 380 thousand units.

I really like the graphics of this game. I've always loved the top-down art style, and it looks like here they really embraced the heart of it while maintaining a dark, mature tone (unlike Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2).

Not to say those games are bad or anything, but the art style turns me off of them a little bit with

Uh...

I just saw this thread on /v/ the other night, everyone was talking about how it was gonna be so funny. Didn't think it was gonna catch on so quickly.

Free-to-play mobile card collecitng game Transformers Legends has been slowly slogging through early Transformers history for what seems like ages. Now they're getting to the good stuff in the next update — Beast Wars.

Yeah, it's free to play now. Yeah, I get to play with the free dude that EVERYONE ELSE is going to use. Or I could pony up 20 dollars to play with other characters.

This is the exact same model that LoL has that everyone is always complaining about. What's the point of me playing with Jago when maybe another character

I feel as though PC and PC-aligned systems (Steam Machines) are always current-gen. Never last-gen or next-gen.

If it were only based on computing power, they would be next-gen. Unfortunately, PC gaming is, for the most-part, bound by AI advancements on the consoles first and foremost. Thus, they're stuck chugging with

And, like every other game at launch, we'll have to wait a few months until we find out whether it's actually fun or not.

Am I the only one who's getting sick of all these games that are barely fun upon release, thereby forcing us to wait until DLC comes out for us to actually get variety and fun? Whatever happened to

Whatever happened to the lore articles? We had one on Metroid a while back that was absolutely fantastic. Love to see more!
