Fuck, the Brits ran seven seasons of a Who's the Boss takeoff?

As long as Schur stays on, Parks should be okay. Daniels doesn't actually have any writing or directing credits for Parks except for the pilot. I don't get the sense he's that involved with Parks on a day-to-day basis, esp. as its Schur who always does interviews and promotional events for the show.
I was curious if anybody else watched those. I enjoyed them. I thought E5 was weak, but E6 and E8 were probably the best of the series.
Is it possible NBC would renew Community based on just its fall numbers? If that were the case, I could see a summer run for the rest of S3 and maybe a mid-season premiere for S4.
Parks has become something of a running VW ad.
In all seriousness, when Parks ends, Nick Offerman and Megan Mulally could probably put together the best multi-camera sitcom in ages.
Yeah, how the hell did 30 Rock do *worse* in the 18-34 bracket than 18-49? That goes against pretty much the entire pattern of NBC's ratings, which skew young.
I suspect Community will either:
This was actually a very, very buzzed about pilot. But NBC pushing this to a late spring date sort of indicates they don't think it'll work for network TV.
Well the other thing - has Rashida Jones lost weight? Her face seems a lot more gaunt than it used to, and I actually think she looked better when it was a little fuller.
Unless you get a critical mass, that idea doesn't really work. A couple years ago, I spent Valentine's Day with two mopey dudes and four enormous women.
They even got Leslie's other mysterious random friends to show up!
I don't think so - he doesn't actually like playing Mose because he finds the beard annoying or something.
I completely missed - until my second viewing - why both Ron and Andy suggested "fuck" for the code. The clue was something like "something we did on the 3rd date."
I like that for all Ron's manly-man personality, they don't resort to easy plays like digs at feminists or homophobia, etc. He's not a Tim Allen character - he can enjoy sitting through a women's studies lecture, he has no problem popping into a gay bar for a couple minutes, etc.
As long as we're critiquing Ann's looks, Rashida Jones needs to go back to the way her hair was in S2/early S3. I'm not a fan of the wavy-bangs-covering-forehead look. I know it's popular, but Zooey Deschanel, Lizzy Caplan, Aubrey Plaza, and Rashida Jones all look(ed) worse when they had it compared to when they…
Plus given its ratings, I can't imagine NBC will drag Parks well past its natural endpoint. It'll probably get 1-2 more seasons, maybe 3 depending on how things look for the network a couple years out.
There was an article at the LA Times about how the Parks crew is taking over Sundance. I mean, not really, but Adam Scott, Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, and Aubrey Plaza all have big roles in Sundance flicks this year.
Maybe she knows him from Animal Control. (He's been on the show a couple other times.)
Personally, I've always liked Parks more than I did The Office. Even in The Office's heyday, it never became must-see viewing for me. The whole bleak cubicle vibe, plus the humor drawn from weirdness and awkwardness… it was a little off-putting. I know that was the intention, but it just wasn't my thing.
