Meanwhile Amazon, Exxon,General Electric, Verizon, and others paid no federal income tax, but yes go after these few cases to distract us from how we are being screwed by big corporations.

This article is very good. If your bosses ever shut you down I do hope you and some departed Deadspin and Gawker writers will set up some sort of worker-led site funded through subscriptions or Patreon or something. I would pay $15 a month or so to read your columns, which I have to imagine is more than my page views…

Scorsese makes the same movie over and over again the same way DC and Marvel do. 

What is this ridiculous definition of movies? And what is this opprobrium against Marvel movies in particular? Does he feel the same way about romcoms? Horror movies? Murder mysteries? Action movies? What knowledge or inspiration do those give that make them not despicable?
