Maybe it's symbolic? It's odd, definitely, and this is gonna sound really stupid, but it kind of makes me think of the Kansas City Mafia being foreign invaders that have set their sights on unknowing territory. Planning their attacks and waiting for the right moment.

The only question I have is why are you commenting here and not watching it right now?

Oh yeah, they both have this commanding presence. Like they emit some aura that tells people to back the fuck away from them. All Malvo had to do to get that package in the first season was intimate what he might do if he had to come back there and get it himself. Same thing with Gus's neighbor.

You're certainly right. Ohanzee doesn't strike me as someone who is fiercely subservient.

I really hope we get to see his ear collection.

Fair point. Considering the three of them are some of the most memorable criminals you'd ever meet.

So, Ohanzee is pretty goddamn intense. I actually really enjoyed that scene in the auto shop. He does remind me a lot of Malvo. He blatantly disregards all rules and seems to be comfortable operating with impunity. I'm beginning to think the evil Lou saw in him back in S1 is being expressed more in shades of Malvo in

Thanks for your insightful reviews and discussions in these videos!

Another fair point. Maybe Lou figures he has his work cut out for him?

Even if you got shot right afterwards?

I do think it is funny considering that kind of behavior in today's climate would probably result in being peppersprayed and shot to death.

A lot of these guys on Fargo get away with this behavior I believe because they're so nomadic.

Fair point, he could've called it in.

True, but Lou was out of jurisdiction and also facing two shotguns down, so it wasn't surprising he'd let them go if he wanted to make it home that night.

Ohanzee is actually the character I'm most interested in for now. I mean, the others are like RIGHT next to him, but his cold as ice stone faced attitude really stands out to me in every scene he's in for some reason. He kind of has that scary, commanding presence Malvo, Wrench, and Numbers all have where he doesn't

That's kind of why I think we're seeing so many guns just being casually carried around like it's nothing.

I think Mike feels more than a little patronized by the Minnesota friendliness. I'm interested to see just how scary an impatient Mike can be. Woodbine's performance is great so far. He goes from amused to business at the drop of a hat, and he's always smiling during tense standoffs.

Uh, the proper term would be drunk FLYING.

I don't remember the focus being too heavy on one character or another in any episodes of the first season myself.

I like your observation about the guns backfiring on the users. I also remember in the first season Lester's wife cautioned him when he bought the gun and said, "If anyone can shoot themselves with an unloaded gun it's you", and while Lester didn't exactly live up to that, his poorly thought out actions resulted in
