Were you guys out there on best-TV-of-the-90s lists complaining about the lack of Home Improvement?

Cabin in the Woods came out in 2012, and it definitely belongs on this list somewhere.

I was shocked that No Country for Old Men wasn’t on the list, then I was even more shocked when I realized it was from 2007.

Steven Soderbergh said it better and in more entertaining fashion than I ever could.

It’s the same logic as their comics list. Indie/foreign stuff > mainstream with the surprising exception of #1. I too am shocked that at least the first Avengers, Infinity War, or Black Panther should have made this list.

IMO it’s better than the original

While I won’t knock a lot of this list since I’ve only seen maybe half of them, I was surprised not to see:

Winter Soldier definitely deserves a spot on this list

Did I miss it or are there no MCU films on this list? What, did Scorsese put this list together or something?

How the fuck is Blade Runner: 2049 not on this list? It’s probably the best world building sequel that doesn’t ruin the original film. The rest of this list is good though

Was disappointed to not see Nightcrawler on this list, I thought it was one of Gyllenhaal’s finest work. I was glad to see Drive made it though, that elevator head stomp scene and the soundtrack are forever ingrained in my memory.

I’ve gone back and listened to “So Appalled,” “Devil in a New Dress,” and “Blame Game,” and ... yup ... still great.  I had forgotten just how great they are, so thanks for the reminder!

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is a masterpiece. There’s no two ways about it. It’s the work of a genius producer toiling at his peak, and—mock me for it, but—I say that without irony. It’s a shame that it’s led us (and him) to this point, and that he eventually became who he became. I wish he’d had someone

I hate reading and hearing about Kanye West. He is a major doofus.

“Ordinarily I would not waste my time with something so vain and foolish as a diary, but as I have thousand years until the Sarlacc finishes digesting me, here goes...Chapter One: I Hate Luke with All My Soul...” ~ Werner Herzog, The Mandalorian

The spoiler is that Werner IS Boba. And he narrates the entire show like something out of an Ingmar Bergman movie. Monotone and dreary.

Turns out Anakin loved sand.

Madam Defense Secretary is offended by the implicit demotion. She’ll be informing Interior Secretary Chomsky and Vice President Ocasio-Cortez about it at the next Cabinet-level Meditation Retreat.

Another strong episode, albeit one that left almost all of its most interesting bits for the second half. This liberal fantasy administration they have put together cracks me up. Ezra Klein as press secretary. Henry Louis Gates as treasury secretary. I imagine Jane Fonda is ambassador to the UN or something.

Those Moth Paparazzi was something straight out of BoJack Horseman and a clever nod to Moth Man and possible introduction to a new one in future ones.
