Yeah, this is clearly a case of you blaming the show for your own inability to pay attention or pick up clues.

OH wow, another white dude who cares way too much about the murder Why do all the white dudes NOT GET IT?
Why disconcerting? That's exactly how life plays out?
"The "telepathic" understanding of the women at the end that Perry was the awful monster they all had in common was a leap"
There's plenty of wealthy towns with only a few schools, so the rich kids go to school with the kids of the fast food workers or whatever.
No, if this were to happen in the real world it would 100% be manslaughter.
It's not the show's fault that people are jaded as fuck.
He only attacked them because he realized that Jane recognized him and he knew that all the other women recognized what he had done. There was no need to keep up the pretenses at that point.
Do you seriously believe this? Do lots of men believe this? It is NOT true. Women go to prison all the time for trying to protect themselves.
Or the actress is just creeped out by Adam Scott's weirdly tiny mouth and doesn't like being next to him. Could be anything.
Hmm, no.
She used to be able to do American accents fine. I think a lot of it is her current husband being Australian and they spend way more time in Australia now too, so it's much stronger now than it used to be.
"The punk is beating the snot out of his poor wife and the other woman run over and pushes him off of her. That's not a crime."
Yes, of course one can serve time. There are countless numbers of incidents where women (especially women of color) get sent to prison for trying to defend themselves. Marissa Alexander is one of the most well-known cases - https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
One other point - people Jane's age (early-mid 20s) really don't go on Facebook anymore. It's now much more the haven of older women like Celeste to show off their families.
I honestly think Reese is just playing up the "will they, won't they" thing. She and Nicole have already optioned another Moriarty book to produce.
Her family is helping out probably. She mentions she was living with them before moving to Monterey.
I don't understand why people have such a hard time separating characters from actors. Now if an actor is a complete fucking asshole in real life, then sure, let that color the characters. But the other way around? People should be better than that.
"the law would certainly be on Bonnie's side for the actions she took to stop a murder."
Yes, I believe they optioned Truly, Madly, Guilty which came out last year. It's not a very good book though so who knows how it will turn out. Big Little Lies is her best one.
