What will really mess with you is to go to The Onion and realize half the articles now sound more real than parody.

You gotta warn us if you’re gonna post an extreme close-up header pic.
We’re so deep in the satire singularity, finding out we’re in a simulation/multiverse mash-up almost makes more sense.
You closed that article beautifully. I tip my hat to you good sir.
We’ve hit the The Satire Singularity... I just checked, that term has already been coined.
Yeah, not really sure what to do with myself. I can’t decide between beret wearing “down with the capitalist patriarchy!” screaming revolutionary or just going full-on “Dave Made a Maze”.
I’m still on the fence if this is some grand nightmare plan unfolding or he’s just Joffrey Baratheon and Mr. Magoo’s ego-centric love child of snowballing ineptitude
I’m so grateful to be in Norway. But yeah, Denmark is getting weird, Italy is getting weird (I love that place so much, I hate seeing anything like that happen there).
Yep. Seeing that video feels like watching a preview. Groups like patriots prayer (stupid name) aren't even trying to be subtle that there looking to start a fight.
“It’s safe to say we can expect incidents like this—and much worse—to keep happening before all this is over.”
The “spoiled child” analogy might be perfect.
Thank you for that! I needed that.
Thanks! I don’t mind at all, be my guest. :)
Thanks. :) I really should have learned by now not to bother to begin with. I’ll see how far Mr. BizCasFri goes. :D
Speaking of enjoy... My other discussion has, quickly and unsurprisingly, devolved into a “brick wall” scenario. I’ve decided to try and have fun with it and see if I can get him to argue with a virtual cardboard cutout:
I decided to go with the Business Casual Friday cutout. To be honest, the Action Pose one didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. It really landed somewhere between “Brazilian dance fighting beginners class” and “Overdressed for frisbee golf”.
I was watching The Office last night too! I just couldn’t enjoy it. I really should know better but I got into what I guess could be called a discussion with some nitwit on another post. That didn’t help much either.
“Prove” and “right” are fairly strong words in that context. I’m quite sure you are convinced you are right but unsure that’s actually how proof works.
I guess we’re tied. Looks like we proved each others point. My intended use of “delusional” was accurate, concluded any question to the value regarding this particular discourse, and the accuracy of the analogy used to describe it.
Oops, I forgot about the health care bit.
