Perhaps a better story than it is an album, then. If the music here is any indication, I'm glad to see he's in a better place, for lack of a better term, as an artist and person.

Honestly, I'm just glad I have (most) of the show on record now.

New England tourist towns desperately needed more street cred.

It's a shame. The releases have gotten better with time, but early ones like Pete & Pete were given no love. Some episodes have visual and audio issues, and we still haven't seen the third season yet.

I suspect As told By Ginger holds up fairly well. I feel like it would have been more fondly remembered if released at another time (if that makes sense).

I still think it's the best cartoon Nickelodeon ever produced, with Pete & Pete their best "sitcom."

Yeah, it sounds like this guy did everything he needed to do to step his game up and deliver an interesting pop album. I know the lo-fi vulnerability vibe is a thing, but his first album seemed like it was barely there.

It also flows exceptionally well.

I want it on wax too, but that price is definitely off. Since official info on a physical release has been mum, I suspect that's either a placeholder price or they're doing something "special" with the album.

It's like busted, apocalyptic sci-fi library music. Easily one of the best things I've heard this year.

There are certainly differences, but having eaten in small regional Italian villages (sorry for sounding like a dick) and being born and raised in the Bronx, there's plenty of overlap. You can argue that Italian food from Italy can't be beat, but there's plenty of universal dishes that you can get stateside that I'd

I've made tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes before, and while that's a distinct beast of its own, canning is as much a preservation process for flavor and texture as it is a means of convenience. Hell, even if you're really strapped for time as a home cook there are some perfectly good jarred sauces to pick from in

Like most Italian food (or Italian-American, though really if you're stateside most of what you're looking for falls under both names) red sauce is as authentic as what it's made out of. You can have that plastic jar of Ragu, or you can make it yourself in your best friend's backyard from fresh tomatoes. Marinara's

Sounds good to me.

Can't speak much for Lidell beyond this album, but I think Blake is better for different reasons.

I get where he's coming from and think that any reasonable person understands and acts on that need for society and basic human interaction. I guess part of my problem is that I've heard this rant from him before and he can spare me his fire and brimstone.

To answer your question seriously: Maybs?

Say what you want about the beginning of "Mermaids," but it turns into something mighty breathtaking.

Sounds like a bunch of little Princes running into each other and exploding on contact. I like it.

Would you ask Jack White that question?
