I really hate that you had to post this three seperate times. I wish we were more like 4chan, where you can reply to multiple posts in one reply.

Old people are entitled as fuck. They think their age gives them the right to do anything they want/not do anything they want (like learn how to use a computer, for instance).

I don’t think it’s that tinfoil-hatty considering we’re one of the largest countries in the world, around the size of the EU as a whole. I’d call the difference between my life in Seattle (hey neighbor) and that of someone living in Ohio as pretty similar to the difference between a Frenchman’s life and a Spaniard’s.

I really wish Dems would stop making such a big deal about how far ahead she is in the popular vote. For better or for worse, our country doesn’t elect its politicians based on popular votes. Instead, it uses a system designed to give a disproportionately large amount of power to states with low population density.

I made 2 loafs of pumpkin challah bread on Monday of which one and a half loafs will be used in a stuffing, and the other half eaten as a side dish. Also cranberry sauce, but I’m not doing anything special for that, I just think the store bought stuff is disgusting.

I wouldn’t know. That’s an incredibly unlikely hypothetical situation that has never happened to me in my entire life. But I’d probably ask if they were ok, because I’m concerned about them, but not apologize, since I did nothing wrong.

If I bumped into someone, then I am at fault and will apoligize. If they bump into me, then they are at fault, and I will not apoligize. I don’t care if the person who bumped into me was ofended.

It’s about both. You obviously think the latter is more important than the former, and many people disagree. This is a philosophical issue, not a scientific one, and it’s not strange that people have different opinions.

Apoligizing reinforces the idea that what you did was somehow wrong, and that the offended party was right to be offended by it. In cases like this, where the offended party is just being overly-sensitive, that makes apologizing stupid.

Nobody’s offended that MS apoligized, they just think it’s stupid. There’s a pretty big difference.

So you really believe that is their only real issue with abortion, and not, for instance, a firmly held belief that life begins at conception, which would make any abortion murder since it ends that life? It seems like you’re actively trying to find the worst in these people, instead of actually learning what they

He still has a problem with women getting abortions. That’s the first thing he’s quoted as saying: “I wish to restate as firmly as I can that abortion is a grave sin, since it puts an end to an innocent life,”

What exactly are you expecting here? For the church to reverse their stance on when life begins? Because that’s not going to happen.

My mom told me my little brother’s quitting his job in a few weeks because he doesn’t like it. Right now he’s a janitor at a local vet we go to, cleaning up after the animals and stuff. Apparently he was so bad that they actually had to call my mom up and ask her how to handle him.

Congrat’s, that’s great!

How is it “mansplaning” to discuss the reasons why we lost the election and what we need to do if we want any hope of winning at least one house back in 2 years/the white house back in 4?

I was just thinking how much of a pain it was going to be to savescum for a female Litten with that long-ass cutscene when I opened up the name screen and saw I got one on my first try.

Only with ditto, since he has no gender.

I get a quarterly bonus of around 12-14% of my paycheck, but my company’s talking about moving some or all of that to my regular pay, and just giving me a 12-14% raise instead.

To be fair, there kind of is a “black culture”, created when our racist housing laws started grouping them all together, and our racist policies took those groups and placed them in a very different situation from other groups. For instance, rap was super popular among blacks because they couldn’t afford instruments
