I’m saving for a condo right now, which means some combination of everything and nothing is extra money. I need another 20k at least before I can even consider looking at a mortgage, but I don’t want to just save up money like a hermit and never spend anything on myself.

Just got my quarterly bonus yesterday, which came out to about $600 after taxes. I still think it’s completely arbitrary, but at least it’s an arbitrarily decent chunk of money. No clue what to do with it though.

I don’t really remember it being explicitly stated, but I’m not sure it needed to be. A self employed single mother suddenly dying and leaving her two daughters all alone probably wasn’t going to leave them with a lot of money. Doubly so with all her medical bills.

They were ship sinking. They didn’t want the Buffy/Spike ship going anywhere, so they sank it with a completely ooc moment by spike, who was previously a hopeless romantic and never once shown as a sexual predator.

It might also have to do with short women being fetishized, while short men aren’t. The same for large women and large men. Society views extra heavy people as unattractive in general, but a decent sized group of men have a “chubby chasing” fetish that’s practically unheard of in women.

I was told by my boss that it wasn’t legal for them to ask for specific reasons for my sick days, but then I only use 12 hours/month, and if you have an actual illness, mental or otherwise, you probably go over that.

Westworld seems a little bit like S.H.I.E.L.D, in that it’s going to be a lot better if I binge it after the whole thing’s been released, and don’t have to wait months to answer the plot threads they bring up, but there’s no way in hell I’m going to be able to avoid spoilers for that long.

As someone who works Tuesday-Saturday, I do miss the weekly Sunday nigh threads.
