Huh, I was wondering why Tom Hanks was suddenly twenty years younger and almost completely inert except for his mouth, nose, and eyes.

We gotta kill everyone advocating for this shit before it's too late
Oh god that makes it even worse. The state of universities if they’re graduating kids like this.
“and airlines are working diligently to make the experience a living nightmare.”
So many orders, not enough production. On a vehicle a LOT of folks could afford and wanted enough to plunk down a deposit. Now, the affordable model is done and dusted and you get a pittance towards your new everlasting car payment. Ford, you’re forever underwater. Oh, and you GM? samesies. It’s almost like they…
At the intro price, I was really liking the idea of an XLT Hybrid with a few option boxes ticked. Was still closer to $25k than $30k. I’ve since lost interest.
Not a bad business model. Create the first properly small truck in a decade and price it super competitively. Realize that even your anticipated demand is an underestimation, build a buzz. Raise the price to a point where it actually makes sense to build. Profit.
Utterly meaningless when Dodge has put out about 50 “limited edition” Challengers and Chargers over the past few years that are mostly just decal packages and maybe an engine that was already an option on that model anyways.
The problem with that is that most of these devices require a certificate to be signed in the firmware that guarantees authenticity. There can be ways around that (think rooting/jailbreaking phones), but for the most part it prevents any third-party software to be recognized by the device.
I wish I knew more about machine programing. I’d be writing custom firmware for HP printers and giving it out for free just because of how much I hate this type of scummy corporate approach to enslaving customers and forcing follow up purchases. It would be my #1 favorite hobby. Maybe I should look into learning,…
Don’t forget 10% of that for “The Big Guy”.
Another $40 billion to Ukraine will solve this problem in a heartbeat.
exactly, they gave away the last purple heart printed in anticipation of the casualties from operation downfall (the invasion of the Japanese home islands) in **Afghanistan**. it took over 70 years to use them all and we anticipated those casualties in 2 years.
Yeah a lot of people don’t seem to realize what not dropping the bombs meant. Conservative estimates would have put the fighting in the Pacific theater lasting 1-2 more years and an expected loss of human life greater than 3 million compared to an estimated 300,000 for the two bombings.
the problem is Japan maintains they did nothing wrong, there was no operation cherry blossom, there were no sex slaves, or if there were they were enthusiastic volunteers, etc. etc.
Japan refuses to apologize for their atrocities in China, as well as the kidnapping and raping of Korean “comfort women” In fact they’re less than apologetic and often exclude these things from their school books. They actually held parades celebrating their soldiers for decades. Japan was no better than Hitler and…
So let’s get past the mass war crime atrocities japan carried out but let’s be sensitive about dropping a bomb on Japan after they attacked US soil? That’s a seriously hot take to put it nicely.
Poor move to let Japan dictate the conversation. I’d love to see #WhatAbout Nanking? trend. Or any of the laundry list of fucked up things the country either outright denies or manipulates to avoid actually coming to terms with.
“The dealer claims that when the truck came in, instead of being placed in special orders, the Maverick was placed in its regular dealer stock which is why it was sold.”
We had to run out of people dumb enough to take on a 1k car payment at some point.
