Growing up in the 60's, the 2 story house we lived in, had HUGE windows.  Every time a fighter jet (we lived 60 miles from a SAC base) would fly over above Mach1, it would shake those windows so hard the words coming out of my mothers mouth would make your hair stand on end.  It would shake everything in the house

I started shooting with a Canon AE-1 in 1981, switched to a Rebel in 1999 when the shutter on the AE-1 started acting up and it was more expensive to to repair.  Switched to digital in the early 2000 and still using a Nikon D7200.  I’m too old school I guess.  I prefer the optical viewfinder.  Plus, I like the LARGER

Those F1 engines on the Saturn V, designed in the 60's were some of the best engines ever built.  Shame it was abandoned for the “space truck” (shuttle)

Never been on a cruise...never will.  Being stuck on a boat with thousands of other a-holes for a week?  I get enough of that at work LOL.

Reminds me of the Homer Mobile.

Maybe it’s left handed threads and they are using the lefty loosy, righty tighty method?  ;)

It’s because trucks are the “in” thing right now.  It was mini vans, then SUV’s, now it’s trucks.  Once the fad wears off the price will go back down.

Well DUH! California has too many homeless/immigrants to take care of...they don’t have time to take care of real workers.  Anyway, doesn’t the UNION take care of their own?  ;)

When businesses are dependent on government for cash...the government has you in their pocket.  Oh?  You want the money for roads?  Then you have to have the speed limit at x, or we won’t give it to you.  Oh?  You want the money for your hospital?  Well, you have to do x or you won’t get it.  Oh?  You want the money

LMAO!  150 miles wide?  And what about all the major (100k or more population) cities that would be wiped out?  “oh they are in flyover country, who cares”.  Ok, then let’s start in NYC, move to Detroit, Chicago, the, hook down to KC, St. Louis etc.  Oh no!  We can’t do that!  Why not?  Those are all democrat cities.

Apple does this just about with every new release. Limit supply to create “demand”. People will be afraid they won’t be able to get one, so they place the online orders.

Don’t forget the reduction in weight! 20-25 grams!   A whopping 1/2 to 3/4 of an ounce!  Boy, it will feel SO much lighter!  LOL

I hate “narrow” tall phones.  I understand why they do it, but my favorite was the Huawei Mate 2.  The Pixel fold when folded is a little wider, but not for 1800 dollars.

You’d think the auto cartels would see that the DEMAND is for low cost autos, not 80k for a huge pile of junk.  But, the AUTO industry isn’t run by “car people”.  It’s run by “suits” that probably never drive a vehicle.  they are “limo” driven everywhere.

Got mine on Thursday, Watch 6 classic to upgrade my watch 4 classic.  I prefer the rotating bezel which was missing on the 5.  Switchover was painless even though pairing it with a NON samsung phone required a modded file to get all the health features to work.

I just hope they build it back better, but similar to how it looked.

Inkjets use to be cheaper than lasers, but the price has come down A LOT in the last decade or so. The only “advantage” to inkjet is if you are printing photographs for the most part. With ink, the ink pretty much sits on top of the paper. On toner based, the fuser unit uses heat and pressure to melt the toner and

Software...the problem with just about anything these days.

They WANT the price high.  That way you will OWN nothing...just “lease” or “rent” it.

My grandfather, Marine on Iwo Jima, in the early 70's, when Japan started really importing cars to America (the first “oil crisis) told all 6 of his children, who were mostly in their 20-30's range) if I ever catch one of you buying or driving a Japanese car, I will never speak to you again.
