Breaking news: we’re all faking it until we make it, adults included

Throughout my childhood, I was always a late sleeper and had trouble getting out of bed.

Now, after a few years of a set work schedule, I can’t really sleep in past 7 or 8 on my days off. One of the biggest things that’s helped me is using one of those alarm clocks that simulate a sunrise. (Philips wake up light, i

I prefer to log my workout in my google calendar since i already use that to organize my time. I like being able to see and edit it from my phone or any other thing connected to the internet.

as for details I usually just log my RPE(with notes on how it felt, IE: still feeling burnt from last session, light workout day)

I was going to comment saying these aren’t that risky.. but then I thought about it in the context of absolute beginners. The dynamic jumping movements aren’t so great for beginners as the shock-loading won’t feel so great on unconditioned joints.(especially heavier beginners)

And then pistol squats... beginners should

if it meets your goals, sure!

Though I do find at some point most athletic people can squat with much more weight on a barbell, than a single leg would lift on a pistol. If you want leg strength probably continue with the more traditional stuff and lift heavy.

But added stability from unilateral movements is always a

lol that sounds a bit scary doing single leg stuff on blades. Skaters must have awesome ankle strength.

I do agree that it’s more of a stability workout than legs. People who do weighted squats regularly lift way more than a single leg would on a pistol.

Yep, there’s very few sports that regularly put you on one leg, but it’s a great one for rock climbing.
The stability that you build from not having both feet planted is very helpful on the wall when you almost never have both feet planted solidly. And sometimes all you really have is one toe to stand on and need to

I gotta agree, that’s some gorgeous hair Ana!

If you need some help getting over a certain hump (in my case, getting past my 1-hour workout wall,) these C4 products can help you reach your goals. For what it’s worth, pre-workouts helped me feel a little more energized and focused during my training sessions, and with these discounts I’m likely going to invest in

Great point!

When I started working more on my fitness, I naturally started watching tv and playing video games less, and part of it is due to time constraints.

I do feel though that you have to have a specific goal in mind already before you go about reshuffling your priorities. For example I wanted to get back into a

if you aren’t already, i would start doing pull-up variations.

and in particular i recommend doing all your “normal” reps at slow speeds. 1 mississipi up, pause a moment, 1 mississipi down... feel the burn

wide grip and uneven(archer) pullups are also great

Beth know any good hip flexor stretches?

desk jobs and commutes suck :(

Gonna have to agree.

I’ve tried a few CBD products and it’s done nothing or only a tiny bit for me. A CBD cream/lotion that has, say 100mg of CBD in the container, gives me temporary pain relief. While a CBD tincture, with something like 200mg in a container of MUCH smaller volume, does almost nothing for me. Makes no

I drink a cup of coffee on workdays but not always, let’s say 4 days a week. Also I just settle for the office provided brew so not much savings for me there :/

Buuut, I’m trying to limit how much soda I drink so most times I go out for food now I try to bring my own water bottle. A small soda can still be $2 or more!!

Layers, one single item isn’t going to make you magically warm.

Base layers: wool leggings and longsleeve, polyester/nylon base layers wick sweat a little better but wool is warmer overall. As an avid outdoorsman who grew up in the city, having long underwear is the SINGLE biggest change that i wasn’t already doing.

I was using AutoHotKey pretty regularly about 6 years ago from a giz/lifehacker recommendation.. I’d assume their quality is still great as ever.

The only other option i can think of is if you have a keyboard or mouse which allows you to set custom hotkeys (like razer or many logitech products do)

...maybe it’s because I grew up during myspace and have gotten over the hype of using social media for everything, but just don’t follow people that you don’t want to see crap from.

we’ve had a looooooooong time to cope with “so-and-so didn’t “like” my post” depression” Likes are more worthless than their 2cents,

Myself and 4 others have multiple cables and charger plugs and battery packs and speakers from anker.. they’re all pretty solid. Never had a reason to speak to customer service, bad luck mate
