I more meant that the first characters you meet are Amber, Lisa, and Kaeya, who are some of the tropiest characters in the game. Also Paimon’s dialogue is better in some of the more character and deeper story driven quests, but hits a bit weird right off the bat.

Agree to both, I see some of the author’s points but I do not understand the critiques of Venti or Zhongli, they seem pretty pitch-perfect to the characters.
