You just described Acuras sales direction (minus the RWD)

I think it looks awful

Destination weddings suck. Forcing folks to spend their vacation on you, so that you don't have to pay for a wedding sucks. Then inviting 500 people who you know arent coming becuase you're secretly just fishing for gifts sucks too.

I bought a CPO 128 last summer. If you have Tier 1 credit, you can get in on BMWFS great rates. At the time of my purchase i was able to get .9% AND BMW paid my first two payments. I didnt put a penny down, just sign and drive.

I should have been more specific, i was talking clown shoe

These things are expensive as f*** already. You missed the curve here.

BMW Financial deal I got last year for my CPO 1er, .9% @ 60 months, and they made my first two payments. Sweet!!!!!

I just told you why you shouldnt pay any fees up front. If you total the car at any time during the lease you lose all the money. And with the crazy low money factors, the interest cost for those fees is negligible. Think of it as paying insurance against losing your fees.

did anyone else read that "I have neither the time nor inclanation..." line in colonel jessups voice from "a few good men"?

i explained GAP ins in a reply further below. I also explained why I would NOT pay any money upfront on a lease vs a purchase.

That is not a reason to put money down. If that was the case, then the lessee should put the money in a separate account, amortize it over the life of the loan, and draw from it monthly to subsidize their own monthly payments. With the crazy low money factors and artificially high residuals that these manufacturers

No, all leases come with GAP insurance. The GAP insurance covers the difference of what is owed on the note, and what the car is worth. GAP would cover the depreciation the minute you drove off the lot, the fees and the taxes.

FALSE FALSE FALSE. Very bad recommendation Tom. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you ever put ANY money down on a lease. ROLL EVERYTHING into the lease. You want a true SIGN and DRIVE. Why? Because lets say the minute you leave the parking lot, you get T-Boned and the car is totaled. You instantly lose that money.

If Jerry Seinfeld can make a car show on tv (a 20 min long show) for free, i'm not sure why Drive can't. Everyone wants ala carte, well this is what you get. Paying $4 per channel. A channel that doesnt have new content 24/7.

Autolenders is different though. Back when I was selling cars Autolenders was getting off lease cars from Hann Financial Bank. They were hann financials retail arm. Just a place to retail there off lease cars instead of wholesaling them.

Tom, do you know why there are no Carmax stores in NJ? A google search doesnt show much info, wondering if you know why?

i forgot about the vert, maybe you're right.

I chose the sedan, becuase the sedan was only a few year run. The sedan is more practical. Where i think your line of thinking is flawed, is that typically, when a car is produced in sedan and coupe variants, the COUPE is ALWAYS the performance oriented version. The sedan is for the family. The E36M might be one

E36 M3 Come on down!!

I like BaT. The auctions are amazing. You can see who is bidding in REAL time and egg on your favorite. I was watching the auction live, you could see Enthusiast Auto Group , the BMW speacialty dealer bidding, and everyone in the comments booing them not to win. The anti snipe feature is great as well, every time
