Fun fact, the 996 in the porsche dealership was actually a modified 993

Any narrowbody 996, can be had all day for 17-25k depending on condition and recent IMS maintenance. Every other outcast 9 eventually shot up in value, 964, 914, 912 etc. The 996 will have its day.

This was cool. I have 2 small boys, 4 and 2. I hope they grow up as best friends and have a great relationship, share stories like this when they get older. Maybe I watch too much tv or know too many folks with family drama, but i dread my boys growing up with any sort of sibling rivalry and hating each other. Lifes

The readership here obviously doesn’t follow E30 M3 pricing. This guy is in the ball park. He’ll get a buyer around 25/26

Any 135i can be an iS, just buy the ppk and pe

Save the fuel pump and turbo failure headaches and carbon blasting and get yourself an NA 128i with Msport. They are super rare though. I sold mine last summer within 24 hours of posting it. Had two guys come see it within 12 hours of posting.

show the car!

Sleaze bag move

Have yet to see one of these on the roads of northern NJ, smack in the middle of Hondas, smart, educated white collar demo for this truck. That is worrisome

The one in Warwick was available when I was looking for my 328i, they were asking like 28k at the time, besides the outrageous price at the time, halogens was a deal breaker for me

Get a 328 with a burger or Dinan piggyback tune and your knocking on the door of 300hp

That’s a fuckin deal! Is yours a stick? I got a 13 6 sp with Msport and a few other options for 25.5 with 35k miles in June. The sticks were always more money than the much more common autos.

Super Sonic Blue Pearl from the GSR or Techno Violet from E36 M3 or GTFOH

Bilstein and swift suspension, apex wheels, mpss tires mpe exhaust etc

My wife is 5' nothing, so it works for her. And I disagree about the cargo area, it’s actually pretty big for class (it was in 2012). But agree about acceleration, ours is a 13 that only came with the lower hp skyactive, so yeah it’s cool she gets 28 mpg, acceleration is a dog

Funny, I bought a 2011 CPO 128i 6 speed Msport with 15k miles for 25k in the summer of 13. I sold it this past summer (3 years later) with 27k miles, and about 4K in mods and labor for 20k. Dealer offered me 15k lol. I said no thanks and sold privately in just a weekend

Because finances. When we bought our CX5, 4 months after it debuted, they were selling right off the transporter and for sticker. It took weeks to find one, rest assured we paid sticker and received no special financing.

Be careful thinking the Mazda has more “room”. My wife drives a 2013 CX5. For the past 4+ years she has had it, it has served our family well, but spacious it is not. I’m 5'7 and my knees touch the dash in order to fit the forward facing rear car seat for my 2+ yr old. My recently purchased F30 328i is our new weekend

You win! This is hysterical

Last week their was a boxster on BaT that grenaded its engine 60 something days after having the IMS swapped out. The Owner of LN Engineering jumped into the thread to give his own advice regarding IMS failures. Essentially his thoughts were just because the IMS was swapped doesn’t mean your worries are over. If the
