I worked at a Toyota Dealership for 6 months in the early 00's. CPO was simply an extended warranty that the dealer paid for retail ready used cars. Many times the cars were not even inspected. We took in a later model Corolla with under 40k miles, slap a CPO on it, put it on the lot for resale. There were even

For an idea on maintenance costs check out edmunds insideline long term reviews. A few years ago they bought an e46 M3 for their long term fleet and documented all of the costs. I remember at the time being interested in one, but reading the posts on the car over the year swayed me.

lol i wanted to take pics and do a whole writeup, but honestly, I just do not have the time. So I will report back on the deets as soon as I sell it. If I do it again, i'l take pics and do a write up.

I love these articles. I was reading them on your site before you started posting to oppo. You inspired me to try flipping. I have had my first flip for two weeks. I have bought a few things for it, and really only plan on giving it a good detail, besides the small fixes. But i didnt even touch the car last

reviving the tiburon name would be an awful idea. That car was awful. The name has zero value.

don't laugh, 1st Gen, Subaru Forester S (fully loaded) with a STICK! lol. I bought it right, its mint. Hopefully it doesnt blow up when i get. (bought sight unseen :o

Apida, you my friend are ballsy. No way i would have touched that car in that shape. To me the exterior of a car is pretty much an indication of how they treated the mechanicals. This was a great read, and glad you made some good coin. You have inspired me, i purchased my first flip on Thursday. I am VERY EXCITED

Dynamic envelope people

plain jane 2.5L :(. 65k miles. manual tranny

Do you float the titles? Do you register the cars? Insure them? I am interested in flipping cars, and have access to auctions, but it seems like a lot of hassle when you really get into the nitty gritty. I read all your flip stories on the original site today, i can get a 944 cheap, real cheap. Your story inspired

also, what year? and how many miles?

and just like wheeler dealers, you omit the amount of time you spent accomplishing said flip. Be honest, how many hours did you spend driving to get parts/parts car, removing damage, fixing damage, buffing lights, detailing etc. I'm not saying this is an awesome story, it is. And if you truly enjoy working on cars,

Looks like a NP. I'm local, i was ready to respond to the ad before seeing it was gone. A salvage one of these went for 15k on BaT not too long ago. The value is there for these at this price.

These games mean so much that they are not even included in any online bracket challenges. The deadlines are still noon thursday!!

I must be getting old, this kid is a moron

wives like this suck. Why give up an AWD 4 door sedan? Why do all new parents automatically think that when you have a kid you HAVE to get an SUV/MINIVAN?

So is this supposed to be the new "M Sport" designation moving forward?

Apex Arc-8 Wheels, nice!

I agree, I am jalop as it gets, but much of the allure of this car is that you can't get it here. Once every tom dick and harry starts driving one, folks will see what the car for what it is, a 25 yr old japanese sports car. I mean you want 300 hp and AWD go get a Mitsu 3000gt or Stealth. shrugsshoulders
