The thing is is that there is ZERO indication that the skin does anything. It doesn’t have any flavor text that says it changes her abilities. You can’t access a menu and see what her special abilities look like out of a game, so unless you have the skin equipped in-game you don’t know what it does.

Its a rough read but quite excellent. kinda reminded me of some of Derek Kirk Kim’s early work (‘same difference’, etc). I’m mixed and am white passing, while my older sister looks more Asian, and neither of us look like our father. Lots of echoes of things we’d rather forget our childhood in this book.
