"Alright class, everyone say hello to the new teacher!"

I liked the image of the two of them adopting the same stance, side by side. Just a nice iconic image.

I thought it was a feather duster at first, "why is he holding that fea…. OH GOD."

Makes sense.

If I could upvote twice I'd click again for the Look Around You nick ;-)
I always thought that no one says 'zombies' because 'this' is real life and 'zombies' are stupid horror movie things, that they (all survivors we've met so far) refuse to allow that things that happen in scary movies happen in real life despite

I think it's the games they're playing. Dealing with their reality by being badasses in their gaming.

READ THE BOOK! SO MUCH, SO SO SO SO MUCH, BETTER.

Saw that too and thought it weird that the unwashed survivor bowhunter was WAY hotter than the nicely dressed unwashed tv star…
People should always wash their hair whenever possible.

I wondered the same thing. I hope the electricity and water maintenance isn't tied in with that idea, but even if it's not connected at some point the town's going to lose both and we can all probably work out the rest.

It would have worked if 1) He'd done a Worf-y, low gravelly 'Klingon'-y voice. 2) Didn't pass his character off as not being a fan but at the convention mostly because of his wife (the makeup and costume show us otherwise) 3) "It is a good day to die." 4) Any other week but this one.

…and The Brain Eaters!

I just wish they'd ditch the revamped version of the theme. That lady singing sounds like all of us do when we imitate the original theme. Drives me up a wall.

P.S. Not a scheduled guest at the con. Just showed up.

I was at a convention in NY before they began filming (I'm old) and while we were listening to someone in the ballroom all of a sudden the doors open at the back and down the aisle strides Nimoy, who proceeds to head up the stairs to the (lectern?) and gives a VERY emotional, angry explanation about what was going on

Also directed The Good Mother (Liam Neeson, Diane Keaton.) Fantastic, devastating movie.

5 works so much better if you go with the 'it was all Kirk's dream' theory.

Unlike the other brother I lost, who was killed by flying vomit pancakes that tentacled his brain but left his moustache intact…

Quinto's Spock is more Sheldon Cooper than Nimoy Spock. I'm not a hater of the new ones but I feel like I put in way more work than I should trying to embrace them. Were it not for Karl Urban (and Simon Pegg, for different reasons) I think I'd probably tap out entirely.

I call this type of music 'Foo.'

I loved the '98 Fantasy Island; rather than the B-list Celebrity parade the original was (see: Love Boat) it had some bottom to it, some intrigue (what IS Rourke, anyway?)
And it had Malcolm McDowell rocking the white suit.
I blame timing on the failure of this show. It would have held its own in the Lost era.
