A lot of people are saying that the platform is the deal-breaker here. I get that to an extent. Like many Kotaku commenters, once I got a Switch, my interest in playing games on 3DS dropped a lot. I haven’t even finished Metroid: Samus Returns, and I love the Metroid series and had been dying for its return!

Suspension of disbelief doesn’t mean you get to suspend good writing. In fact those two things are not really that closely linked when it comes to visual media. It also doesn’t make that piece of media immune to criticism.

I never understood why they did what they did with Armageddon. Guerilla really was/is a blast (lolz) to play. Armageddon was...not.

You act like it’s something we don’t want to see. I agree with the person you responded to. 30 fps is what some people are used to, and anything above to that, they don’t see any difference.

I had to rewatch video several times and I can see the difference BARELY. It looks a bit choppy at 30fps (like missing frames…

Here is a lady who is walking the walk, and saying all the right things and surprisingly seems like she will follow through on them. And people still want Cuomo. Sometimes you have to reap what you sow. Same treatment Bernie was given by African American voters after a lifetime of protesting for civil rights.
