Interesting! It definitely can add up to the charme of a game or the general feel when it fits the purpose. For the same reason I enjoyed the probably forgotten “I am Alive”. It was weird, clunky but special and unique in it’s approach that I liked it enough. Sometimes those games stick more with me than some

I like the flesh - machine theme very much. If replicants are made of flesh but without a possibility of having children and „without a soul“ their conflict gains more weight and is more of a fresh take or at least a interesting variation of this topic.

“On all past Nazi shooting video games the only people complaining about the Nazi part were German people because they don’t want to ever be reminded of that,[...]”

Why do you think that? I haven’t seen Event Horizon in a long time but keep fond memories of it.

I totally get where you are coning from. My thoughts exactly and I don’t like the statement 40 hours for 60€ because I will never play something for that long. Most games become repetitive in their first 10 hours.

My thoughts exactly but I guess marketing seems to be in it’s own bubble as odd as it is. Their phones are becoming huge so I hope my SE will last a few more years

This game and soundtrack trigger fond memories of my teenage youth. Being with a friend after school and playing it for hours was the most fun I could have during that time. We played it with keyboard 2 players on one! One had to use the numpad and the orhers wsad etc.. So since we listened to the soundtrack for hours

Until the last 3 sentences I wanted to recommend ur post but that last part is so unnecessary that it’s reducing the chance of a possible discussion that could follow on this.

This concept sounds amazing and if the game around it is good entertainment it should have it’s place among other unique experiences. I mean starting from the idea that your enemies learn from you is so exciting that there must be many other ideas to flourish from that. I will play this definitely.

Oh right! I forgot about downloading patches and installing them one by one in order. This would frustrate users who grew up with steam et al

Barely worth mentioning but windows phone had native integration years ago. Too bad nothing came out of it. The nokia windows phones were so well built and had a good haptic.

Amazing how relevant that is today. Like nothing has changed in the last 20-30 years in this respect

Here in Germany I ordered it for 15€ new and am looking very forward to it. With this update it finally seems like a fully fleshed game and I am willing to put some time in it. But still not a 60$ game.

“in bed tends to make my left hand fall asleep.”

This is more disturbing than any “Ring”/”Ringu” vhs tape. My brain feels weird now ~.~

I needed to laugh so hard but had to be quiet since my kids are falling asleep next room. Thanks for bringing that up!!

That is hilarious. Thank you for sharing

I needed the comments to get that your article is one the humorous side. Having two children and taken classes in childrens behavior and cognitive processing and development I would like to say, don’t let him play too much and 20 minutes sessions max. It is a very lot to process for a young brain and with school

Trackballs still exist?!! Since my childhood I wondered when people would use those? Is it any more comfortable or more precise? Is it just the first thing you had and got used to it?

Since it is a reappearing nightmare of mine to be stuck in a very narrow room barely to fit myself in I would probably die in those capsule ones due to panic and fear. Brrrr
