Clearly walking to provoke? Yeah that’s how you want to see it, Phillips knew the BHIs were dicks but he saw 100 vs 4 and saw who had the power, he walked in the middle and chanted and drummed, what the fuck ever I don’t know what kind of punishment you’re looking for there.

Oh maybe the bus wasn't there yet, in that case yes the only thing to do is gather as a mob I guess

And where were the chaperones? That’s a good. Also, are your telling me they could have gotten on the bus instead of mobbing the crazy street preachers? Should have, you know, gotten on the bus instead.

I see a couple Black Israelites yelling slurs and a mob of worked up brats continuing to engage when they have the full power to walk away. I don’t get into arguments with crazy street preachers and expect myself to be hailed a hero.

Oh yeah, I forgot we don't punish teenagers who make immature and potentially dangerous decisions, my bad forgot about that.

That’s ridiculous way to describe the mob they formed, and they were indeed escalating the situation by the mere presence of their large group surrounding the others. They should have and could have walked away, several times, and they didnt.

Yes I’m calling the teens out for being immature, they are the authors of this situation. And if we intend for these kids to become mature adults, then they need to face consequences like an adult, that’s called raising a child dude.

The Black Israelites are a known crazy, they are there almost every day. The answer is to ignore and not engage, as people do everyday. The answer is not to form a mob and surround them like a bunch of bored, entitled brats. This situation was created wholly by these kids, they need to own up to it.

I still see a huge group of like 100 kids who could have walked away at any moment and yet gleefully escalated at every turn. All because they don't have the maturity to ignore the crazy street preachers

There were 100 kids and 4 Black Israelites, the kids had more than enough power to not engage and yet they escalated the whole situation at every turn. Don't forget who was surrounding who.

I’ve been laying out what happened in plain terms for a lot of people today, I’d like to think most understand and agree when explained this way.

That’s really good point, often a Democratic Presidency is as liberal as it’s Congress. Do we really think that a President Harris would veto a liberal policy put on her desk by a liberal Congress? Not a chance.

Not really at the moment, something could change and her campaign could catch fire, but I think she's going to get lost in the mix.

Keep in mind there were like 4 Black Hebrew Israelites and like 100 of those kids, Phillips could recognize who had the power there. Also the BHIs are there frequently and are commonly ignored, the students created this situation themselves.

I’d love that as well, I hope that's the case.

Oh and a helpful troll on the main article gave the story they’ll be using. Apparently it all started when the 100 kids started surrounding and harassing 4 Black Hebrew Israelites giving a speech nearby, and Phillips put himself in-between them. The troll said BHI’s are a hate group according to the Southern Poverty

Cool spin bro, just looked it up myself. There was a group of 4 older BHI members giving a speech, they were surrounded by 100 of those Catholic School boys who didn’t like the speech (what was the content of the speech? Who knows, who cares, walking away is the correct response.) Phillips stepped between them to

The only issue is how easily that image is co-opted by the Republicans. But yes in general, kick out the white people.

I’m not about to go hunting this kid down, and neither should anyone else so sharing his name is pointless. But his attitude, his smugness, and his entitlement are traits that I see in lots of white men and it angers me because I know that’s the force that put Donald Trump into office. Kids like this grow up to become

That’s nice. That kid is still gonna be on the Supreme Court one day, mark my words.
