Oh I understand gerrymandering very much as well, I’m from Wisconsin you see 😁

That sounds like the least obnoxious way to have a Disney wedding.
Good job! I’ve visited Charlotte a couple times for work and I’ve always liked that town.
I’m one of those manipulative monsters that only says “Pardon the mess” after I’ve perfectly cleaned everything.
I bet it’ll be lots of fun, I love hosting! Just remember to get your time to relax and enjoy the company!
Uh oh. I’ve been teaching an improv ensemble and they are in the middle of performances. Several in the group separately reached out to me about one member who’s been giving unsolicited performance notes to the others, and this guy has been developing some bad stage habits to I thought I’d email him. I thought was…
I’m so sorry, I’ve had to go through something similar not that long ago. Our pets are part of the family, and losing a family member isn’t ever easy. Thank you for giving them a loving home.
That got me too, his assumption that Kavanaugh lived *much* too far away to attend that party. It has to be have what, a 20 minute drive?
Graham is grasping at straws. Ford getting a polygraph in August actually fits the timeline perfectly fine, and doesn't at all negate the fact that she initially wanted her name to not be made public.
Not solely, no.
I do love the phrase as a slight against overzealous "method" actors, I think it came from an exchange between Laurence Olivier and Dustin Hoffman.
Like I said, I agree with you on several points. I have no problem with Erivo’s casting here, but I’ve seen the “It’s called acting” argument pop up one too many times. I’m seeing people who think acting is strictly about maintaining a convincing illusion and that’s just simply not the case. And the excuse gets used…
Yeah what I’m saying is more a general thing, not necessarily directed towards her or this particular casting. I don’t know of her work personally, but it seems like she’s a real power house performer and I bet she'll be great. I'm just tired of hearing "Jeez guys, it's called acting!" Whenever there's a casting…
“I’m not there” used a very theatrical convention by using multiple actors of different sexes, ages, and ethnicities to portray Dylan, it’s was a cool device that they used. Cate Blanchette was great in that movie, but if it was supposed to be a straightforward biopic grounded in realism, she’d have been a bad choice.
You’re assertion that my intentions are political and not artistic are completely off base, I’m a theatre artist and this shit is my life blood.
I agree with some of your points but I’m sick and tired of the “it’s called acting” argument. How well you play someone different from you is not the be-all end-all measure of successful acting. In fact, truthfulness is much more important to acting than being a chameleon, and though you can research a role to kingdom…
I think he feels like he needs to live up to having his father's name. DJT didn't want to name him Don Jr, Ivana insisted. He never got the treatment a "Jr" deserves, and it drives him crazy
What pissed me off was that somehow bringing those women to the debate was meant to attack *Hillary's* character. Trump thought he was so smart but it made no sense.
Who cares how you used it? You don't get to decide that it isn't offensive because you want to say that word.
I just realized that my last reply was worded pretty badly, by “he” I mean my boyfriend. I didn't clarify who I was talking about.
