I never finished the Last of Us, but based on what I saw and that trailer...it looks like the wrong place to look for for ANYONE to be happy. Hell, that’s part of why I’m pretty sure I won’t be playing it.

This is why McConnell et al have sat on their hands while Trump runs roughshod over the constitution and rule of law. They want to control the Supreme Court and lower courts. I don't know how much Trump has broken America in the short term, but the long game McConnell is playing has been paying off. 

For anyone that believes that this ban is the right thing to do, I’d like to point out that because of approval of executive orders like this, there are other anti-immigrant actions that are ramping up under this administration as well.

This decision is pure chicken shit. The ACLU* is right that history will judge it - and Justice Roberts - harshly.

This is why it’s important to vote to create a large enough Democratic majority that no Trump appointee will ever be confirmed. Trump is temporary but his appointees will be around for their entire lifetimes. Gorsuch will still be there when he's 80. He's not going away. Trunp's choices are permanent.

I did read a piece recently about how various movements, like MeToo and the youth demos for tighter gun control, not to mention the increase in the number of women standing for political office in the midterms, may have been a partial response to Trump, in the sense that his egregious awfulness has galvanised hitherto …

I have no problem with voting third party. Hell, I voted third party but at least be fucking consistent about it. Doing the whole “oh, the socialist didn’t win, guess I’ll just vote for the Libertarian” thing makes you look like a fucking ignorant goon.
