The older and more financially comfortable I get, the less I want my life to be in the public, whether on social media or in the real world. And after reading about how most celebrities and socialites can’t even go to the coffee shop without being mobbed, or constantly harassed on the internet. I can’t imagine any

The slide show is absolutely terrible, but the answer has to be Musk.

I hope they come up with the answer, and we hear about it. Another possible cause is a stuck/overheating trailer brake.

Scratch the surface even a little bit and every single “Undecided Voter” is just a Republican who wanted to be on TV.

fire departments don’t fuck around even with normal properties, so I trust the Monterey fire department to continue the investigation if they see fit. I’m also positive that two guys with $3M to throw around between them can afford a private arson investigation if need be. I'm curious how it turns out, really does

The insurance company is the bad guy here, the dealerhsip is the GOOD GUY for once.  All of these are backed by insurance companies so the dealer took this out of their pocket to make it right.  The dealer should get nothing but good press for cleaning up after the insurnace company.

Now I’m curious: what causes a trailer to catch on fire? Did it start with either of the cars inside or something like a faulty electrical system in the trailer?

Oh god... it’s so bad!! It looks like someone tried to convert a sedan to a hatchback using a Sawzall, a metal brake, and a can of yellow spray paint.

Cab driver should be driving a hybrid, ac works with engine off.

The Daily Show also had an entertaining piece about this whole little ecosystem:

Well, the ports aren’t proprietary; quite the opposite. It’s just that the IDAs are the only ones the crewed vehicles can use. Dragon originally used the CBMs. Today, only one visiting spacecraft can use the CBMs. (Well, two, if Japan ever flies another HTV.) The biggest drawback to the CBMs is that you cannot dock to

I would’ve thought Vance would be celebrating all the childless cat ladies losing their companions.

Sure, “Springfield”.  Which state?

He’s just asking questions...sort of.

It is important to point out that this was done under an entirely different contract. SpaceX and Orbital Sciences were awarded Commercial Resupply contracts under an earlier program. This did give SpaceX a valuable leg up on their competition, and is one of the reasons that they bid less on the Commercial Crew

Not exactly. Dragon 1.0 is a substantially different vehicle from the current Dragon vehicle. It has the same name and a similar shape, but SpaceX made huge changes for the Commercial Crew program. In the interest of saving cost, they decided to abandon the original cargo Dragon, and now are basically flying the cargo

Cybertruck towing in the dead of night!
Did it get wet and then try to drive?
All your life, you were only waiting for a POS to buy.

This doesn’t seem to be a problem of bad thruster design. It behaves just fine on test stands. It’s inside the doghouse that it overheats. So it’s a system-level issue, and that makes one question the quality of system-level testing.

The teammate was Calais Campbell, all 6'8 300lbs of him.

Electric, my dude. I’ve been using it for 10 years, daily most of the time. I’ve switched out the “blades” or rotary things or whatever the hell they’re called maybe 4 times. I’m astonished by how long they last, especially since my beard is pretty thick if I let it go. Also, can do it dry. It’s super quick, and cuts
