Came to make a Gilligan’s Island reference. You beat me to it.

Still not sure what Wynonna Earp was trying to do with Dolls at the end. He wakes up in bed next to her inexplicably, it’s never discussed, and then the show proceeds to write him off?
They may own it, but I think there are still problems with having to license them from a particular division. Like last year when they took off a bunch post a certain year (I don’t recall), but the explanation was this:
Something about residual payment to the voice actor?
It was based on a very straight book. I was quite shocked when I actually read it. None of the humor. A great improvement. I loved the music too. Great songs.
Aw, this poor fucker can’t catch a break.
The idea of a streaming service CUTTING content (especially pre-made content) to “improve” seems so counterintuitive. Also, is that an attempt at an APOLOGY at the end of the update?! (I read it as “our original, needlessy harsh article is below”). THIS you half-heartedly apologize for? Sounds like an Onion headline…
Zaslav’s slowly becoming Ted Turner 2.0.
They had ONE JOB!!!
I mean, it probably makes more sense to have stuff that’s 60+ years old on a FAST service, since very few people are going to sign up for an “all you can eat” service to watch it. But this does sort of point to how the whole subscription based streaming model is broken.
The fake mustache Halloween industry needs time to catch up. It hasn’t had this kind of demand since Magnum PI went off the air.
You know, honestly I was trying to remember if I first saw him on Watchmen, Wynonna, or Legends of Tomorrow. I’m fairly certain it was Watchmen first (I started Wynonna Earp later and that was a kickass show)
Same for me, except the first time I ever heard of him was on Wynonna Earp.
“A Bentley spokesperson said that the incident was not tied to a 2021 recall of some Bentley models over the risk of possible accelerator pedal sticking...”
I wasn’t aware of Diedre Hall until now. I now believe in witchcraft.
If you’ll allow me to add another degree of reference separation, your mentioning The Fury reminds me of the line in Dollhouse where Topher describes Summer Glau’s character: “Imagine John Cassavetes in The Fury as a hot chick.”
Wimpy Kid? I thought that was Big Nate. This is more embarrassing than that time I showed up to a Thanksgiving parade with my scrotum hand hanging out.
The question is, how long until Monster takes over? Since there is a finite number of customers and Prime is hitting the younger ones, it has to be impacting Monster at least a little.
Yep same for me - my mother overcooked things to the extreme.
My same reaction. I remember the song coming out, but how I have never seen this video - that was bizarre even by 80s video standards. So. Many. Questions. Main one is how did Darryl and John look at the script for this and say -”yep - we are game.” Oates come across as soooo creepy!
