Yup. Terf groups are getting louder and louder in the US now that they have cozied up with right wing groups. Spreading fear about trans women is bathrooms and locker rooms and other such nonsense. It’s not so much LGB that’s under attack (we are but not as much) it’s the T. 

The more I hear about the Metro cops, the more disgusted I get. That whole dept needs to be gotten rid of from the sounds of it. Then again, that's true of all police organizations at this point. Protect and serve my ass.

Michael made a great point in another article that I think pretty much all white people forget. If they are taking reparations out of tax dollars, that means black folks are paying into it too. They aren’t going to go through the trouble of separating out white dollars.

Not just your family's name, but I'd imagine where they where stolen from and who they were there as well. Sure Africans in those days may not have kept family records, but had people not been stolen and had their entire identities wiped away, you'd have more to go on.

I read this on BuzzFeed the other day and thought it was the sweetest. It sounds like a beautiful bonding experience, and I'm glad they and others are able to share it. 

We are avoiding the protests personally. We are headed to a pride event instead. My wife has made a name for herself in the local LGBT community as a leader, and I think it would be too dangerous for us. Otherwise, I don't disagree.
