The YouTube video from 2016 is clearly a render. So I looked up the ship on Wikipedia, and the ID number listed pulls up the Onego Deusto which doesn’t have any sails…errrrrrrrr….magic kites.

Yeah this season in F1 was a real snoozer. I long for the good old days when Schumacher had the championship wrapped up by mid summer. If only they had a totally contrived “chase for the championship” or would throw “ competition yellow” flags to tighten things up now and then…
When you are in college that’s the place to be. Reminds me of Copper Cove on Lake Havasu from about thirty years ago. One massive party.
Not only will it drive great, the moment you hit the brakes and that little table slides forward and smacks you in the head is going to be delightful.
Aston seems to be working their way down the grid, Williams is working their way up. Aston Martin is signing great talent, to be sure, but it’s going to take a year or two for their work to matter. So it’s well backed financially, but is it really a big jump right now? I don’t think so.
Bernd Maylander deserves the win from Belgium. That is all.
I love racing. In general if it has four wheels and is trying to go faster than something else with four wheels I’ll watch it. With formula e I’ve tried. I’ve tried so many times. And I’ve never made it past ten minutes. I can’t articulate why, it’s just too boring to care. Maybe it’s just too slow, it’s definitely…
Look, I know these are real. I know they exist. So why does every photo look like a bad photoshop? Seriously, the photos in the article make me think this is a total fake. What the heck?
Five years ago new in box video games of almost any vintage were worth anywhere from squat to about $100. Something REALLY rare was worth maybe $1000. And then all of sudden we were hearing about games that sold thousands (or millions) of units selling for absurd amounts, like $2 Million for Super Mario 64.
I hate to be “that guy” but he is clearly not playing what we are hearing while he is driving around.
Demand? Did you actually watch the interaction? There was no demand. A request, politely declined by the way. She seemed quite happy to talk to Martin, it was only her self important bodyguards that were a problem.
Elizabeth, you are awesome. You are one of the best things about Jalopnik. We’ve met at Watkins Glen. I respect you a lot. Respectfully, you are dead wrong on this.
Sprint races having anything to do with the starting grid of the Grand Prix is the very worst part of the idea. F1 qualifying is awesome. The best of any form of racing. And it needs to set the grid for the Grand Prix.
What an absolutely amazing weekend. The energy being in that crowd was incredible. The race was excellent and the fans were cheering everything good that happened. Danny Ric in the old 3 car was a highlight and we made quite a few new friends.
If that was your focus, you totally missed the weekend. I was in that massive turn 1 crowd. I couldn’t move. But I managed to use the bathroom when leaving the track, and I brought water with me. The energy was amazing. People were there to have a good time and it was fun hearing who everyone is rooting for and why,…
Enjoy staying home!
Nah, I’ve done Indy before and that crowd is another world. But that doesn’t take away from how absolutely massive this one was.
If only there was more than one seat, and you could take a second, or third, driver along…
The Honda Odyssey is maybe the single greatest road trip vehicle ever. Crossed the country (almost, PA to UT) in two days, filled it with stuff from my inlaws, and crossed the country again in two days to take it all home. And of course it holds a literal mountain of stuff.
