My friends car:

2016 had the two worst candidates in the history of our nation. This was the year of the independent, the year of the third party, the year we could finally break the two party system.

I miss that sound. Oh baby. And the V10's were even better.

I wrote one sentence. You responded with two angry paragraphs. Have a better one.

You are really worked up over this simple comment. Relax buddy. Take a look out the window. Enjoy the sunset. Have a glass of wine. It will be ok.

This is not motosports.com. It’s jalopnik. Reporting on sporting events is hardly their primary purpose.

I watched the race, but I gotta admit these spoiler laden headlines are not kind to those who don’t have the time.

I haven’t had a beer in a frosty mug in ten years, but this article makes me want one...bad.

People act like tracks that have two dates on the calendar haven’t used one of them to run the infield road course. This is awesome in every way. Or rather it will be after they use a crane to lift all the cars off the track that will be jammed together in turn 2...

But the travesty that is instant replay in baseball was supposed to stop this from ever happening. Instant replay is the worst thing to happen to baseball since, well, ever.

I went to the race in 2004. The track wasn’t new, but it still made for a great place to see the race. There was a pretty good crowd back in those days. Glad to hear there is a major race back at PIR. Here’s a couple of shots I took on race day:

The best history re-enactment place I’ve been to on this side of the Atlantic is the Plymouth plantation. Very enjoyable and it didn’t feel cheesy like some places do.

That is absolutely a static fire. Textbook static fire to be honest. Although I personally LOVE the video at the top, I have never seen smoking at a gas station cause a fire.

Does it actually say “estimated charge $900" or does it say something like “Warning, surge pricing may be higher” because I could see freaking out about #1 and saying yes to #2...

Sold my ‘04 Ody with 282,000 miles on it. Trans is sketchy but otherwise what a car. Loved it.

What most jalops don’t get is that the guys who buy these trucks use the stink out of them. They are essentially buying their office on wheels. If I owned a contracting business and was always on job sites or traveling between them you bet I’d buy one of these. Ford will sell a crap ton of these.

Having lived in California where you car can have no wipers, three bald tires and a missing wheel but be just fine as long as it doesn’t fail smog, I think some level of inspection is a good idea.

A quick google says “up to 33mpg city” which is inexcusably bad for a car that tiny. And the issue with highways is 18 wheelers going 75+ mph.

We giggle at the smart car because it’s a potato chip can that gets 30mpg. Which is off by like 60mpg of what we expected...

That looks more like it’s built to collect pedestrians than snow...
